I pre-ordered it a long time ago. I also played the leaked BETA, and I must say it's on par with the first one in terms of immersion, and MILES AHEAD of that blunder called Invisible War.
Still, the original Deus Ex remains the best game I have ever played.
You damn troll! Of course I played the first game and I know that Master Chief is the protagonist...
:P
FINALLY a worthy sequel to my favorite game ever and one of the best games in the history!
Gordon Freeman? That would explain why it takes so long for Valve to make new episodes of Half-Life.
John Sheppard, Duke Nukem, another Master Chief...? :)
Well, it says it's the GENESIS version (Genesis screenshots). Pretty impressive for 16-bit platform. :D :D :D :D
(lol)
Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Human Revolution (judging from leaked beta), Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret, TES4: Oblivion, Quake II, Unreal (the first one, from 1998.)...
These are a few of my favorites.
You do realize that in case of consoles, the hardware/software combination is always the same (on every unit), and in case of PC there are literally thousands and thousands of possible combinations. Also, different manufacturers approach same problem in different ways - for example, Intel and AMD CPUs (or ATI and NVIDIA GPUs) are pretty much compatible with each other, but hardware architecture is different. So if you optimize it for, for example, any Intel CPU, it is not optimized for AMD (o...
You can't "push PC's to the MAX". There is no "MAX" or some kind of imposed limit on the PC. All you need to do is to put a stronger graphics card or CPU, or add some RAM, and there you have it - the "MAX" has been moved up.
On the consoles it is a different story - once you tailor the game engine for a certain hardware, that's it. Example of this is when people tried to overclock or change the CPU on the first XBOX (replacing it'...
Half of those developers (names briefly flashing in the video presentation), many of them very talented, don't exist anymore. :(
I'm experiencing a Déjà Vu... :)
I wholeheartedly agree with their BEST RPG choice. :)
Deus Ex is the best PC game in existence, IMHO.
This should be the real trailer for Mass Effect 3, but then again, the game ending would be pretty obvious. I mean, how in God's name would the Reapers survive Duke?!? :)
You go "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL...&quo t; on this?

Trolling...?
IMHO, it's "easier" to sit down and devote a few years (and a few million dollars) to program and fully optimize game engine for just one platform, than to develop an engine for more than one platform and make it flexible enough so it can push, in this case, both Xbox 360 and PS3 to it's limits. An example of this would be a Dreamcast game "Shenmue". Shenmue looked better and was technically more impressive than anything PS2 had to offer (not just graphics, but the...
I don't know how can people say "there's no competition, KZ3 looks WAY better". Saying that any one of these "blows away" the other is pure fanboyish exaggeration. Both games looks great, and it's very hard to judge which one looks better.
I'll say 99% of posters around here don't know squat about programming and hardware (aside from marketing and PR BS), so it all comes down to personal preference. That said, I like Gears3 art style be...
...
Disregard what I just said - too many fanboys on this site.
I downloaded the game from Pirate Bay, finished it, and then bought it directly from Frictional Games store, because game is freakin' great, and it was just 20$. Also, independent studios like FG need support from gamers.
Well, I been waiting for the "proper" sequel to my favorite game ever for ages now. It looks like DE:HR will be a worthy sequel (or should I say prequel) to one of the best games of all time. :)
I already found out about this one (when I played leaked BETA). I didn't know it is supposed to be some kind of "hard to get" secret. I simply did what I'm always doing in these types of games - explore the world around you. Every alley, vent, basement, sewers, rooftops...EVERYTHING! :)
