So....after everything PS3 fans said about X360 fans....after all those "MGS4 cannot be done on Xbox 360" crap. What will happen if MGS4 become a multiplatform game and get released on X360? What would PS3 and Xbox 360 fans say then? As for 360 fans, I'm sure it would be a lot of "I told you so" comments. But what would PS3 fans say? Would they say "Meh...it's a crappy game, anyway" or would they just eat their words...?

I agree with TheMART - I also think that pricecut won't help much! 500$ is still pretty much for most of the people, especially when there's a very limited games library + multiplatform games work better on X360. BTW, I've read somewhere that Virtua Fighter 5 is actually inferior on PS3, and the game was exclusive!!

Did I miss something (seriously). Last I heard, SONY was loosing 300$ on every PS3 sold, and Micro$oft was earning ~80$ on every X360 sold. So how, all of a sudden, PS3 is proffitable, and XBOX 360 is not???
NASIM, you forgot just one tiny little thing - GAMES! X360 actually has games, and PS3 has BluRay player and "limitless potential of Cell". It's games what matters the most, not WiFi, card readers, BD players...Those are just extra. Average people buy consoles primarily to play games. Watching movies and photo albums are just a bonus...

I'm impressed how the majority of PS3 fans has nothing bad to say about X360 except "hahah...failure rate". Play games, not console (like someone said). I think this is a "closed circle" - gamers are waiting for developers to make some good (or exclusive) games for PS3, and then they'll have a reason to buy a PS3. But, on the other side we also have developers waiting for a PS3 to grow a bigger fanbase (or userbase) to justify creation of exclusive games for PS3... Conclusion:

Well, this is EXACTLY what killed SEGA SATURN - it was too difficult to develop for, meaning the games waren't there. THIS IS NOT ABOUT HARDWARE, IT'S ABOUT SOFTWARE. If you don't have the software, the hardware WILL fail.
