I enjoyed both too. They both learned a bit about how to flow & pace a show, which was absolutely vital.
That said I'm surprised by it but I think Sony's pace was just a bit better. The sheer virtue of the Minecraft & Sea of Thieves cringe called back to outdated methods & it slowed the show down a bit.
Sony created continuity w/ that amazing orchestra & they kept the pace up through the entire show, whereas MS pulled out a handfu...
Nailed it...it looked like TLOU crossed w/ Dark Souls, which is a pretty amazing mixture.
That's saying a lot from me as well...I'm a huge fan of the fixed camera in the GoW series & I think it is core to the game itself, but this showing was so quality I'm already sold on the new direction for the series. It looked absolutely phenomenal.

Haha yup...... My love of Spider-Man runs longer than my love of games and the white is off putting...only white spider I've ever seen on the chest belongs to the black costume.
That said that is an extreme nitpick...I know the alternate outfits will be tremendous, the game will be amazing & here's hoping the story matches up.
Couldn't be happier about this news...may even trump the idea of Sucker Punch doing this game...SP is mainly verse...

Nope, magician dude is the same old Rookie Monster with a new name...a re skin if you will (hence why we aren't seeing the old rookie monster anymore), like everyone elese's E3 conference this year.
Also, Dead Rising 4 is a AAAAA game for now, but as soon as it is confirmed for PS4 it will suddenly be just an amazing AAA....them's the breaks!
Difference between MS leaks & Sonys rumors were just that...we had firm evidence for everything at MS show before the conference, and no firm visual proof of Sonys...by that sheer fact alone Sony takes it.
Add in the live orchestra, the literal non stop games without a single lull, & even someone like yourself can't deny that Sony won E3
Haha yup, love the look of the game but the white bit is pretty off putting as a long time fan of the franchise.
I've seen a lot of Spidey costume designs, but literally none featured a white spider...won't be game breaking but I do kinda hope they get rid of that. Just doesn't look right!

The presentation was hands down the best thing E3 has seen in years, if not ever...the artistry behind a full orchestra scoring every announcement was absolutely unheard of...the fact that those announcements weren't leaked the week prior just seals the deal.
Easily the most complete E3 package I've ever seen in a decade of watching them...no contest.
I'll call it as I see it too, I will never mistake star child for a fanboy. You have proven yourself in my eyes...anyone willing to admit the quality of this presentation is a true gamer in my book.
The only criticism that could be made for this conference was the lack of dates, but at worst this stuff doesn't all release until 2018....still doesn't make any difference to me, I don't see any other consoles that have this kind of quality lined up for the fu...

That orchestra needs special props....that orchestra was the best new IP of E3....absolutely gorgeous music. Every E3 from here on out needs an orchestra to live score it. I'll honestly never be as hyped as I was when I realized those guys were sticking around.

He's just hurt star...I haven't tried VR myself but I realize that the experience doesn't live or die based off of graphics & resolution. I'm personally glad that it is starting small, because it tells me that VR is here to stay. The first generation will be exactly that, but VR is a medium that deserves breathing room. It is essentially the technology gaming has been building towards for decades...all of the cameras & microphones & motion controls were all testing...
....please leave Garrett...no one believes you. Either admit that this conference was the best of show or bite your tongue. Ain't no argument to be made to the contrary.

The orchestra though!!! Please, for future reference, every E3 conference needs an orchestra live scoring their event. Maybe it's just because I'm a musician, but that orchestra was the game of the show....

Either way it's gorgeous....I'm the dude that wanted to keep the fixed camera but I can't deny the quality here. God of War takes game of show just like Horizon did last year. Amazing from top to bottom. I'm still feeling from this show. Need to get pinched.....with the quickness....really hard.

A lot of this stuff was 'rumored' not leaked.....so yeah if you could imagine every MS rumor actually panning out in a single conference, Battletoads, Age of Empires, Halo 6, New Rare IP, new Twisted Pixel IP...basically if all of that stuff happened & then ...
This is the issue...MS leaves it "up to the game development community" instead of leaving it up to the gamers...
Seems like concrete proof that Xbox gamers will be forced to upgrade sooner than later. So much for the 'forward compatible' idea...

My god....this is phenomenal. Undeniable quality for me...simply the best conference as a package I've ever seen so far. It could stop right now & it'd still be a high water mark, not just for Playstation, but the entirety of the medium. THIS is an E3 conference.

If Sonys conference ended right now after 4 games it would already be head & shoulders above the rest & hands down the best conference at E3, no contest.
In fact, the quality of this conference so far has essentially knocked every other conference down a full letter grade from me. MS was a solid B, now it's a C....EA was a D, now it's an F. I didn't plan on grading on a c...
I was kinda assuming Square & CD would announce the PS4 port of RotTR...I wonder if the contract won't allow them to detail that release until the full year is up?
Either way, pretty sad that Lara is completely off the radar for her 20th anniversary.
