Did anyone else get a Resistance vibe from it? The color pallet, the weaponry, the enemies, the pacing. Loved Resistance myself & Gears looks like it'll be fun, but that demo did feel kinda dated.

Yeah, we haven't seen a single surprise yet...I will say though that they are running out of announced titles so there's a possibility for a quick cg trailer of a new game to close it out, but I'm not sure that'll happen...

Same here...I'm still not sure why it even existed. What little was there could've been shown at Sony or MS or PC events. It was an hour long show with maybe 10 minutes of worthwhile content at a stretch.
Been watching E3 a long time, wasn't expecting anything huge from EA but that was easily one of the most underwhelming conferences I've seen in E3 history. Really hoping this show doesn't set the pace for E3 2016. So far we most likely know Bethesda'...

Wow really, you thought the entire Arkham series was trash? I mean it lost the plot from time to time but I'm a huge fan of the comics & animated series, I grew up on them...the first 2 Arkham games written by Paul Dini were phenomenal stories & extremely fun games for me. They mixed so many disparate elements very well.

Same here....instead they gave us yet another behind the scenes dev diary. Sure there were small snippets of what is meant to be gameplay, but that was not what I was expecting. If they can't come up with a proper demo or gameplay trailer yet, how will this game ship in Spring?

I'd absolutely love for that to be the case. I guess I'm just tempering expectations. I'm sure there will be OS surprises, hardware surprises, and maybe third party surprises. I know MS will have some unknowns at the show but hopefully DR4 wasn't the crown jewel new exclusive for the show because I like the surprises.

Well that'd be all up to Sony. If Rockstar is contractually obligated to deliver an exclusive, that would make Sony a lot more money than just being made whole on an outstanding debt. It could create a tremendous money making IP, so Sony may prefer that over monetary compensation. Sony allowed The Last Guardian nearly a ten year dev cycle, so that's pretty clear proof that Sony is nothing if not patient with their partners. They are no stranger to the long game.

Well they are claiming that they've got a new engine for this one going forward so I guess we will see. At this point I've gotten so used to the trademark TellTale glitches & hiccups the games may not feel the same if they actually run smoothly...
I'm kinda surprised by the more modern art direction they've taken though. The prerelease stuff looked like they were going for that more minimalist Year One vibe. Have they announced what time frame this story...
Less important sure, but not unimportant. You can't tell me you'd rather have found out about this game in a week long slow trickle of bits & pieces rather than a full surprise rollout of gameplay during the hypest of gaming shows.

I think you answered your own question. Sonys big E3 content hasn't been leaking so this is all we've got to comment on right now. Either way, games are games and everyone has the right to comment on them. I don't have an Xbox but I can recognize good games when I see them & MS has a few coming up that look really interesting. Ain't gotta buy an Xbox to speculate on games no one has even played yet.
I'm assuming most of their power will be taken up by the masses of zombies & their A.I.....I've never been big into DR games but I'd assume that would take precedence over graphics. We've got plenty of games that have amazing graphics, but very few zombie games that throw in those kinds of dense crowds.
Hope it turns out great for fans of the franchise, but I'm more interested in RE from Capcom. Hopefully they will finally get it right again.
Not sure why you get disagrees from that...we've literally had most likely everything from Bethesda leaked, most of EAs stuff, a lot of Ubis cards are on the table, and I'm fairly certain that we know every single game that will be shown at MS show with gameplay. MS may have 1 or 2 other reveals, but aside from indies those would most likely be cg trailers.
It's crazy too because in years past it has always been the other way around, Sony is typically the leakie...

Yeah I'm not typically fond of shooting in games like these either, but there's a balance that they can hit. Just give us unique weapons & make projectile based ones just an option & not the sole method of combat. I'm hoping the robot companion is integrated in interesting & intuitive ways too. Not sure if they will go the A.I. Route of just having the robots help you out or if you are actually directing them.

I picture that desert area as an overworld, apparently you will receive new gadgets in each "dungeon" area off of the main map, a la Zelda. The guy was horrible, and the demo was a straight up God of War 3 ripoff...and yet even with years of dev time & an entirely new generation, it didn't look as cool as that Titan battle from GoW3 even though they were obviously aping it.
