Not sure where the disagrees you got came from, the article itself stated that he came on late in development for TLOU in 2012....or do people think that the games environments are something that can be created from scratch & seen through to completion in the span of less than a year? I'd say the dude did more work for the Left Behind dlc than anything else. These articles should be making it clear that the Enslaved artist was the one responsible for the lions share of the work done o...

This is sad but most likely full retail price haha. I'm hoping that we get an Uncharted collection for the PS4 this spring/summer w/ access to a UC4 demo similar to what happened w/ GoW:Ascension & TLOU…I'm not a multiplayer guy so hopefully get get a single player demo instead of an mp beta.

I personally wouldn't want them to sacrifice the flow of the game to make secondary play types like driving any deeper, but I dig all of your other points. It would be perfect for me if we got more of the same w/ an added focus on treasure hunting, traversal & puzzle solving. I'd like to have an Uncharted game that actually cut back a little on the gun play in favor of more traversal & puzzles, the "adventure" parts of the game always take precedence over the "a...

Still don't understand how someone can run w/ a small study by a single group that accounts for most likely only around 1,500 console sales & call it definitive enough to post factual articles about it. We have literally no idea which console sold more at this point, InfoScout's study was conducted in Microsoft's own backyard and accounts for such a small number of consoles that its completely negligible. I'll be interested to see the actual numbers, but this study proves ...

By most Xbox fans critiques, indies or smaller games like Ori & Screamride apparently don't count. Sure they are being published by MS but at the end of the day, the creators themselves (at least in Ori's case) have likened them to indie games. Indie or not, I'm not sure a good looking short platformed & a roller coaster sim can really compete with titles like The Order & Bloodborne.

What other great exclusives are coming for the One? They didn't list Quantum Break which looks like the best thing coming, but I don't know of any others personally. Scale bound could potentially hit, but it could just as easily be delayed because the last i heard they weren't even sure what the gameplay would be like. Crackdown & Gears are both 2016 titles at the earliest....have they announced anything else in the first party realm?

Hard line does have a lot of potential coming from Visceral though. Granted, I'd rather see them working on another story driven game like Dead Space, but those games were all such high caliber that I'll personally always be interested in anything they do.

It was in engine though, and if you've played any of Naughty Dog's games from the previous generation, you know that all cut scenes aren't really pre rendered in the traditional sense. All of their cut scenes are in engine and there really never is any visual difference between gameplay & cutscene, hence the seamless transitions between the two that they are famous for. Chances are that in engine game footage is no different from actual in engine gameplay in the proper game.

It would also be pretty cool if they got Jaffe to carry on w/ his original vision of changing mythologies while maybe letting Ready at Dawn or someone else at Santa Monica continue Kratos' story (if they have one to keep telling). I doubt Jaffe would ever revisit Kratos but I could see him sinking his teeth into a different God of War in a new mythology.

It's also misleading because it's taken from a small cross section of 180,000 purchasers in their area. It's like the Nielsen system, yet even less accurate or effective. The PS4 is still at the top of Amazon & Best Buys best sellers lists which is a lot more accurate of a judge than some dude with a blog and a lot of free time. Seems to me that even with the dropped price on the One that the PS4 is still winning in the US, I suppose we will see actual numbers before too long ...

This "data" was compiled by the site, it claims 180,000 receipts were collected from their own selection of customers...meanwhile, the PS4 has remained at the top of the best sellers list at Amazon, home to a whole HELL of a lot more than 180,000 customers....so yeah, these "stats" are far from conclusive.

Those rehashed exclusives also happen to be the 2 in disputed games of the year for last year, Unity is completely broken & far from game of the w...

You must not have read the article, they show the ps4 at the top of the sales chart on Amazon, on Gamestop it's taking up the first & second positions, & it's second behind the Wii U on Walmarts website....good possibility that Xbox is selling better in stores because parents are buying the cheapest system, but online sales most likely make up a HUGE chunk of console sales these days with more informed consumers having constant access to the internet. I don't know if it...

It's weird to me because it just discounts so many great gaming experiences in favor of a game type that disappoints more often than not.

Have you ever heard someone identify as a huge film buff say they don't like "independent movies"? Or that they love movies but they "Only watch summer blockbusters w/ a budget over a 100 million"? You never will hear that because to a fans eye, a movie is a movie, regardless of its budget. "Indie" isn&...

I'm personally most looking forward to Uncharted news…I'm hoping there will be a new trailer or gameplay footage of UC4 but I'm trying to remain skeptical so as to not get my hopes up…One thing I'd love to see is an Uncharted Collection to drop in March or April to bridge the gap between The Order & Arkham Knight!

Kinda strange how every single game he's mentioned in which Xbox performed better in fps than the PS4 also happen to be the games where Xbox is the lead platform…Evolve got the early MS beta, CoD & MS have had a deal going for years now, & AC Unity is the first Ubisoft title w/ MS receiving advertising rights/lead platform status. I haven't seen the discrepancy in fps in most any other game aside from the ones that just happen to have Microsoft's logo plastered at the end ...

Crackdown is a confirmed 2016 title, & Rare most likely recently started their next title, so that's most likely 2016 as well, the director of Scalebound was still kicking around what kind of game it would even be so that's a bit iffy on a 2015 release as well, and Remedy typically delay their games by quite a bit because they are perfectionists (nothing wrong w/ that)…I'd say MS' 2015 will be as underwhelming as Sony's 2014 was for a lot of people, but their 2016 coul...

I agree when it comes to the games…Sony will have an extreme rubber band effect when all of those devs that Sony had working on PS3 games switch over to PS4 games, which has been happening for a year or two now. Microsoft started catering to the gamers it wanted to get by dropping support for the gamers they already had, the end of last gen showcased the vast difference in each company's strategy. They are almost an inversion of each other, a tortoise to a hare: on the 360, most of its b...

It mentions mocap in the article, but I wonder if their inclusion also spills over into the live action show? It's weird that they haven't cast anyone for that, and by most accounts haven't even started production...if this game truly makes it to 2015, it's got quite a bit to do....I would still be very surprised if this game makes a fall 2015 release....Remedy are notorious for delays & it took years for Alan Wake to drop after it's announcement...my guess is it doesn...

I'm sorry but are all gamers supposed to be future "successful businessmen" Do we play games for their potential to give us the tools to create an empire, or do we play games for their creativity? Gamers are becoming more & more hip to these kinds of trends, so one day all of these "timed exclusive" deals will blow up in MS' face, that much is a given. In the next year or two, we have every possibility of having every single Xbox One "exclusive" avail...

You make a good point…in this weird age we live in of endless hype & "journalists" unwilling to form original opinions, it seems like the most successful games creatively are the ones that are ignored or sometimes outright despised by journos, meanwhile all the games they gush over typically end up average at best. From now on it might be safer to only buy games they actively ignore or dislike, probably end up w/ a better library that way.

I think right now the...
