Just a SLIGHT hint of arrogance, but I guess it's viable if Pokemon is indeed the 2nd most successful videogame franchise in the world. I just don't see it being the sole factor in deciding which console will be the "winner." Then again, I've never played a Pokemon game so I'm probably biased.
There are a number of SquEnix titles coming to the PSP tho.
As an adult Wii owner who does not yet own either a 360 or a PS3, and having 4 other friends who fit the same demographic, I'm going to say that your #3 is based on assumption unless you provide evidence to support the contrary. I also know 3 college students who don't own any other console besides the Wii.
I'm still unable to get an A+ on Brain Age for the DS. The premise of these games is simple but they have high replay value.
It's not that Nintendo can't, but it's that Nintendo chooses not to. Nintendo, more than any of the other companies, has been known to keep things on the DL before release. No one knew when the final version of the Wii browser would be released and then one day to everyone's surprise, their Wii was glowing blue.
I agree that the perceived failure rate is perhaps more important than the actual failure rate. I've actually been waiting for MS to make a noticeable improvement in the 360's reliability before purchasing one, as I would love to play games on Live. On the other hand, I know how upset I'd be if I dropped hard-earned cash on a 360 that fails on me. I'm simply not ready to take that risk.
My decision to not buy a 360 yet is based on my own perception of the failure rate and ...
C/C++ is extremely powerful but requires a lot more knowledge and experience to be used effectively. C/C++ is more flexible and gives developers more control over memory management and object state.
VB is geared toward rapid development, particularly w/ respect to GUIs. Some tasks cannot be done in VB but the language provides some built-in functions that are not provided by the standard C/C++ library and therefore must be implemented from scratch or through the use of anothe...
lol, the title of this news story just sounds dirty. Must be cuz it's Friday...
lol, it's nice to know I'm not the only one gettin rocked as of late. Is YugiOh a fun game?
The fact that a high-level MS director believes that the Wii caters to both hardcore AND casual gamers will still probably have no bearing on 360 fans who believe otherwise.
DS WiFi competition must be fierce over there. I just played Metroid Prime Hunters for the first time on WiFi last night and I got stomped. And so far I suck at Mario Kart DS online too lol.
Hopefully there'll be more tidbits about all the upcoming games for the DS, particularly the FFIV remake.
It's actually pretty unfortunate that bootsielon has decided to hate the Wii and remain close-minded about that decision. No matter what the Wii does right, he/she will still find a negative to focus on. Guess who benefits the least from this way of thinking.
It's inevitable that each console will have great games unique to that particular console, and those who alienate themselves from any of the 3 will be doing themselves a great disservice.
The Wii is only a...
The first one is one of my favorite Wii games so far. It's fun, challenging, and absolutely hilarious.
Isn't Sony the LEAST likely to drop the price of their console?
The PS3 and Wii are the two newest consoles but the Wii generates a profit off of each console sold while the PS3 does not. This gives Nintendo some pricing flexibility.
The 360 has been out for a while and MS have since been able to lower production cost of each unit, while simultaneously growing the software library to a level that game purchases are likely to offset any losses associated w/ hardw...
lol, is this guy serious?

*sigh* This is why teachers don't allow internet citations.
Nintendo could host the server just to make it fair.
Yet another Mario Party review? zzzzz
Actually, the latest NPD data indicates that the PS3 is slightly outselling the GBA.
The problem w/ new hardware peripherals is that if they're not part of the basic console hardware (like the Wiimote is), most games on that system will not make use of it and are therefore only useful w/ a few titles.
