As stated before, only the Japanese versions of Resident Evil games (called Biohazard over there) are censored. It has always been this way to my knowledge.
Late 2007 release? Hmm... Christmas present...
Hopefully after Ninja Gaiden DS comes out, they'll have more time to ponder a Ninja Gaiden for the Wii.
Ya the effects seem well done as well as the texture detail. I wonder if the previous versions of Soul Calibur/Soul Edge outlined in the bottom-right are there for graphical comparisons or an explanation of the story evolution?
Game looks good so far, I just wish I could read japanese.
If this does indeed fix the problem and MS puts this in every new 360 produced, I may have a 360 before the year's end.
Sneaking up on campers and taking them out w/ a close-range weapon is often both funny and satisfying.
The focus is obviously on the "Rachel", but did anyone else notice the ridiculous wallpaper in that room?
How exactly did you expect a real-life rendition of Rachel to look?
I read the title of this news article and actually laughed out loud.
Gamers today are obsessed w/ graphics, sequels, and hardware specs. Even worse, close-minded console allegiance has become so common that there's actually a word for it now - fanboyism.
I'm willing to bet most ppl who think we are in the golden age of gaming right now are youths who weren't around back when gaming was all about funfactor and gameplay innovation.
Not only are Nobuo Uematsu's orchestral soundtracks some of the greatest pieces of videogame music, they're some of the greatest pieces of music period. The man is a genius and is one of the greatest composers to ever live in my opinion.
Next time I save a granny from being mugged, I'll say that the Spiderman videogame made me do it.
Why do I feel like most of the ppl on this site aren't the ones in their household who pays the electricty bill and therefore don't care at all about how much power their console consumes?
Both the Wii and PS3 are facing a game shortage because they are both fairly new consoles. A year from now, there will many more games for both consoles no doubt. However, isn't it entirely possible that the Wii will have more games than the PS3? Dev costs are lower for Wii games, Wii games don't take as long to make, dev studios are creating new divisions dedicated solely to casual gaming, and the Wii will most likely still have a larger installbase than the PS3. Wouldn't developers want...
Isn't the purpose of a party game to play it with others? The DS is not suited for that at all. The control scheme for the Wii also makes it fun to watch ppl play Wii games, which is an overlooked aspect of the funfactor of social gaming that the Wii provides and is something that the DS cannot.
It's true that the Wii isn't for everyone, particularly those who might frequent a gaming website such as n4g. I'm willing to bet that those who have no interest in the Wii also hav...
Looks interesting though I never played the original. Was it a fun game?
This might be the Madden to get me back into the series. I can't wait to use the Telestrator mode to mock my friends lol! And online play? The August release isn't far off... =)
The summary basically states that small-house indie devs shouldn't try to create graphic-intensive games because of their limited resources... Anyone know of an exception to this?
Which would mean nothing since you can't emulate the point-n-click and motion-sensing functionality of the wiimote w/ a PS3 controller. Try doing point-n-click w/ Sixaxis, or swinging the Sixaxis while simultaneously moving it's analog stick (which is accomplished on the Wii by swinging the wiimote while using the nunchuk).
I use a CRT as well and the only thing I've disliked about it is getting it up to the 2nd floor where my apt is lol.
