I never got a free guitar faceplate w/ my new disc.

Yes, that "25% of the original story" thing worries me. If I'm not mistaken, I think this game has voice acting. I'd rather have more story than voice acting.
I'm inclined to agree. Allowing the use of a harddrive would increase the usability and potential for the Wii by magnitudes. It sucks for ppl who download a lot of VC games and soon WiiWare titles to have to re-download the games/apps whenever they run out of space. I know I'm probably gonna get pissed after downloading so many WiiWare titles to have to delete/re-download. It's just not an optimal solution from a usability standpoint.
Additionally, as demonstrated by this int...
Very nice to see gaming as a whole on the up.
Video games > movies!
It seems that most of the ppl that hate on Nintendo (at least on this site) for not having any new IP yet or for the company's lack of mature-themed games either have no idea that Disaster: DoC exists or choose to write it off as a failure preemptively.
I don't really see a price cut happening until consumers can readily find Wii's in retail stores.
And at a price comparable to that of 4 new PS3/360 games, I don't think it's that bad of a deal, especially down the road considering Wii games are typically $50 or less while PS3/360 games are typically $60 or less.
The PS3/360 Hulk also looks mysteriously oiled up, as if he were on his way to a photo shoot...
Looks the same to me.
=D
In all seriousness though, the Wii version will likely cost at least $10 less than the PS3 and 360 versions which, for a game that most likely will be "meh" anyway, is warranted.
I like the fact that tracks can be altered or have obstacles added to them. Most of all, I can't wait for battle mode.
Playing FPSs on the 360 w/ something similar to the Wii remote would be amazing. Play Metroid Prime 3 if you haven't yet experienced how good the Wii remote is for first-person games.
And yes, RE4: Wii Edition worked really well control-wise as well.
Just so we can all be sure that your opinion carries some weight to it, how many hours have you logged playing Ninja Gaiden and Ring of Fates then?
PSP can emulate the DS' stylus controls?
Even if the PSP can emulate DS games, I don't see stylus-heavy DS games being incredibly playable on the PSP. The sylus opens up a world of opportunities, and works particularly well w/ RTSs.
And yes, the DS can play music and videos using apps such as MoonShell, which is included w/ the R4, M3, SuperCard, etc.
Wow, you must've been really butt-hurt by my last comment to come back w/ such sarcasm. Thanks for the laugh.
Seeing as how you obviously have no idea how fervently some americans defend US automakers and their vehicles (understandable if you're not from the US), I would suggest that you try to avoid generalizing any population as being simpletons as a result of your lack of experience/observation. Congratulations, your exhibition of narrow-mindedness on a gaming site just pro...
ROFL I love the B movie-style game plots that are coming out nowadays.
It's likely that the versions w/ better graphics will also cost $10 more.
I'm convinced that the hostility/bashing surrounding the gaming industry has a lot to do w/ the fact that a significant percentage of the gaming community is composed of individuals who have yet to reach the mature mindset typically developed in adulthood and therefore aren't open-minded enough to accept ideas/views that differ from their own. It's not an issue of ppls' attitudes as much as it is an issue of psychological development.
There are competitive industries that have b...
As I said in a post for a different story, I do encounter laggy games on occasion playing Brawl and Mario Strikers online but most of the time it's smooth-sailing. I do find it hard to believe that sometimes the server can't find 3 other ppl for me to Brawl against and just inserts a CPU character, but it's not a big deal for me at the moment.
I hope your feelings are just as strong about the real issues in the world.
Ya, I bet that list will contain numerous Squaresoft titles when published in Nintendo Power.
I bought my Wii to have fun, particularly w/ my friends/family who typically don't play videogames. It's a great console in that respect. There's something to be said for inviting a bunch of friends over for social gaming, and having a blast playing games that ppl who frequent gaming sites typically frown upon (i.e. Big Brain Academy).
I also bought it because of its price. Ppl who think the Wii should cost less because "it's an overpriced Gamecube" generally seem ...
