I'm a huge fan of the 1st Sam and Max on PC. I think the quirky humor is perfect for the Wii.
The only problem I have w/ gameplay changes being dependent on time is that 8 times out of 10, I play at night.
Gun-toting animals and pseudo-beastiality is so next-gen tho!
Sega used weather info in the recent NiGHTS release for the Wii, but I'm not sure if day/night cycles were used at all.
MSR = my favorite Dreamcast racer.
As long as it's just filming and not motion-capturing. I can just see some graphic engineers chasing down roosters to attach motion-capturing probes LoL.
I join a laggy game every once in a while but online seems to be pretty smooth for the most part (Brawl and Mario Strikers), and I'm using wireless.
I wonder how many ppl who commented on this story have actually played the Wii online...
Wow that definitely is a nice score. Might have to take a good look at this one =)
I thought it was a pretty good April Fool's joke. It would've been more believable if a hard drive for the Wii was part of the announcement.
Show me.
The fact that your first comment regarding N4G admins hasn't been deleted proves my point. Now it's on you to prove yours.
N4G admins/mods don't temp-ban ppl for having an opinion.
There are a lot of ppl out there whose head would explode upon reading that the Wii version has the best online experience. I almost bought this last weekend and after reading this article, I'm officially sold. Not to mention, the Wii version is only $40.
Your initial comment made it sound like you played the games for a fair amount of time, just never finished them. If that's truly not the case, then I agree that MH3 definitely shouldn't be the reason to buy a new console.
If you really are a fan of the series like you say, then getting MH3 is a no-brainer.
Awesome read for anyone interested in game development.
Japan hates the Metroid Prime series.
AAA = exorbitant budget?
Sent my disc in almost 2 weeks ago. They should send an extra guitar =D
lol, 70%? You forgot to entitle your post, "Statistics I Pull Out of Thin Air to Masquerade Them as Fact"
Why does it have to exclude 1st-party titles? Because Nintendo's competitors don't sell as many 1st-party titles? No need to pigeonhole just to make a point.
Anyway, to answer your question:
GH3
RE4: Wii Edition
Carnival Games
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Sonic & the Secret Rings
FYI, there are more than five titles on the Wii that fit your criteria that've sold over a million, but you only asked for five.
No one has yet been able to play Dancing Mad from FFVI in its entirety on any instrument AFAIK, which saddens me because it is one of the greatest pieces both musically and compositionally in the video game world IMHO. I have the piano sheet music and the piece is about 30 pages long I believe.
