Last year I read somewhere that the US was getting Mario Kart after the PAL regions to make up for the US getting Brawl 1st. Whether that's still true or not I have no idea.
There's my unhelpful post of the day =D
This game is actually really addictive. Perfect way to kill time as far as I'm concerned.
Props. A well thought-out and fair analysis.
Gotta give you rightful credit. You made this comment way before this guy.
=D
Ya, at this point Nishino just looks like a hater, plain and simple. He admits being confused that WiiFit sells and then goes on with his condescending rant with gems such as, "...ultimately they should play proper games like Valkyria Chronicles."
Raise your hand if you like being told what games you SHOULD play...
Very nice. Game consoles differ from movie players in their ability to provide user interaction, yet I actually never realized the hypocrisy of praising a console's ability to play movies while at the same time condemning WiiFit despite the fact that it is a far more interactive experience than simply watching a movie.
MK_Red worked on Valkyria?!?!
=D
lol I love how BrotherNick got a disagree for his poignant comment.
This "dream" has a historical and factual basis tho. More often than not, the console w/ the more powerful hardware has "lost" to the other console(s) in its generation. The PS2 has outlasted the GC and Xbox, the PS1 outlasted the N64, the Gameboy outlasted the GameGear, and all current data indicates that the DS will outlast the PSP. Current data also indicates that despite the Wii's comparatively weaker hardware, it has surprised and is outpacing its competition.
Yes, FFVI's soundtrack is better than FFVII's in my opinion. I've learned to play a lot of the songs actually because, well, they're just that good. Now don't get me wrong, FFVII has a great soundtrack. Nobuo Uematsu is a deity.
Condering a lot of ppl still play Melee (which has no online component), I'd say this was a pretty weak attempt at trolling.
lol so because Diary Girl DS has voicechat, it shames Mario Kart?
In other news, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance on the 360 has DLC and therefore shames Mario Galaxy.
Totally agree. For me, FFVI (3 in the US) > FFVII by far. Better storyline, soundtrack, gameplay (I really didn't like the Materia system and summoning Knights of the Round was my cue to go run an errand or two), and character development. I even liked FFIV more than FFVII.
My outlook on it is different. I see it as more of an allowance that we will have the option to send predetermined phrases, considering that the previous home console iteration of the series had no online communication as far as I know of and voice and text chat wouldn't really benefit the gameplay of Mario Kart anyway unless there is some sort of online co-op mode.
Gotta agree w/ dem0n here. Play games, not consoles.
I never played the 1st one so this would be a new title to me, as I think it would be to many Wii-owners.
Hori screen protectors FTW! =)
Ya this is definitely great news not only for Capcom, but Nintendo as well. This should put some fears to rest that 3rd-parties might have about Wii development.
However, the article states a million SHIPPED. This goes back to that whole Xbox 360 sales/shipments discussion. Can we safely assume that the number of units sold for RE: UC is at least very close to the number of units shipped, or are they one and the same in this case?
Sounds like a pretty fun concept actually. Anyone know when WiiWare is set to officially release in NA?
