Who mentioned PS4? Hey how about this, my PC has DOUBLE the GPU power of the consoles and my CPU completely massacres them. And, it's going to be very happy to see DX12. See PC is best.
DX12 will benefit Xbox for gaming, just not bridge the GPU/RAM hardware gap between the two main consoles.
Regarding the beta.. 720p does look rough around the edges, still the game is real solid and most importantly fun. Can't see it rea...
Really suprised at how good this is, not a massive HALO fan (still used to love the fun of multiplayer and the epic stories) but this MP may well change my mind. Guna put in a lot of hours this weekend see if I can get hooked.
Plays really well, still have to get te hang of the new controls... only gripe was getting dominated by 4 player squads of friends. Join by yourself and it's a waste of time.

I suppose the hype is PS4 has consistantly outsold XBO in the US & UK for the entire year, going to over a million lead in the US. 1 third of that lead was wiped out in a single month, that's quite an acomplishment.

Suppose the 'blinded by bias' folks think 1 game not on Xbox (which will be on PC) and timed DLC means everyone is giving up on Xbox.

That's not my point, it's this... 1080/60 is an unrealistic expectation for all console games due to the sheer scale of some titles, even top pcs can find it difficult to achieve this mark. It's wrong to think of these arbitrary numbers as some kind of all encompassing threshold that all titles can, and should, achieve.
Let not forget the maximum 3 Gbit/s transfer rate with these internal SATA2 harddrives, as opposed to the USB3.0 5Gbit/s transfer rate available to an external drive.
Higher performance is more important than aesthetics, to me anyway.
