1080/60 can just about be done in Far Cry 4 with my GTX770, which has double the power.. Not easily achievable at all, hence why the majority of console games are sub 60fps.
But you use Windows, right? Way to limit your options as a so called gamer.
I say it'll still come with one of the next big updates, although to be honest I find the most benefit from just normal usage, as in switching between apps and being able to go straight back into the game... which the PS4 can already do... so it's kinda dumb to call it a XB1 killer feature IMO.
Yea your missing what the feature does. Example, I turn xbox on an it takes these 10seconds, I press GTAV and get instantly put in-game where I left off. On PS you have to load the game, which will take substantially longer.
Just bought an i7 with GTX770 for £475 (with win8 so actually £395)... So no, my TV console is pure crap in comparison.
I kinda agree I wouldn't want X1 without Kinect as voice control is amazing, However the 1080p Nightvision tracking camera side has been useless to me.. Kinect fitness or those dancing games may appeal to some, not me... plus when I smoke the damn thing thinks I'm gesturing.
I would say ditch the camera entirely but there is talk of it being used to assist AR, that defientely is intriguing, pity it'll probably suck... but one can hope.
So the Xbox 360 sold around 6 million in it's first year... smh
If you think millions equates to 'sells like crap' then you've got a lot to learn.
He's not patronising, it's called respect. Should maybe take a leaf from his book. I know plenty of people with X1, more went with PS, so what?
So 21 out of 50 equals a few exceptions, I see. After another year if it turns out that the majority actually do achieve 1080p I suppose then it will go from 'majority' to 'many' to 'some'.
It's clear to me what you were trying to portray.
Claims to be unbiased and well informed, goes on to say MS pays devs for parity, something for which there is no evidence whatsoever other than pure conjecture. PS4 is more powerful, but you can't use that fact to claim something else to be fact... that's biased lol.
I wouldn't say zero issues whilst waiting in those 40min 'on call' game queues, or constant connection failures when joining lobbies. I do agree though that it's 10x better than the original launch, at least you can get online.
"As with the X1, the majority of games are sub 1080p with few exceptions there are 1080p games"
Cool lie man. Were you to actually count you'd realise how wrong you are.
Ok.
Fact: Xbox 360 had a 3 year warranty.
Fact: Jasper model didn't RROD (built 2 years in).
I had a number of 360s and in my experience disk drive failure was the real problem, RROD they gave you a new console, Disk drive meant you had to rebuy. Had to rebuy Ps3 too, only once though... Way to many variables to claim your opinion as fact.
@sinspirit
**So, you agree just the scale?**
Huh? NO. Server CPU technology has advanced according to Moores law... Doubling every 18months... that's A LOT in ten years, the SOFTWARE alone costs hundreds of millions to develop and maintain. Only someone who doesn't know what they're talking about would think it's simple basic server 'numbers'.
I've built servers, ran networks even laid the physical infrastructur...
You'll be waiting under that bridge forever.
Just stating the actual reality of the matter. Those articles you're referring to are part of the reason the new MS CEO specifically talked about the future of the Xbox brand, the dates can be checked because after that statement not a single reputable source runs with this story.
You did say 'justify their spending and losses', when the R&D and marketing costs are included in previous years reports, overall still profitable. The cost was already absorbed, a...
FYI 2-5 frames (from 30) equals 6%-16%
They're both 900p LMAO
Yea poor optimisation and it's just a complete coincidence that hardware twice as powerful, runs the same game twice as fast.
Expect 1080/30 on sandboxes. To avoid the 'poor optimistation' claim happening again... GTA V
