usually every tuesday
oh you two
i'm sure the devs/Sony would give you a big thank you high five if they could. thanks for the first hand recommendation at least. at least society can benefit from your enthusiasm!
the PS3 version actually introduced a lot of the fixes first, even before PC caught up. almost every diablo player I've talked to has said the PS3 version is the most fun
kratos says hi
one can hope. wouldn't bet on it playing out like that. few indications that halo will make it by year end. the price drop seems all but inevitable though given the over-supply that seems to exist at current pricing. retailers will probably make it happen more than an official retail price change at least
yeah, it's weird they didn't get either a halo or gears ready to go sooner... well i guess they didn't technically control gears until the recent purchase, but still.
forza is xboxy at least. but probably doesn't make it in the bowl. or it's just garnish or something. maybe salsa.
if it were, they wouldn't put the e in front of it. let it be what it is. it is a way to competitively do something that draws audiences and marketing money. if professional poker can get airtime on espn, why not a video game? poker is not a real sport, but it gets real exposure. i think what e-sports is trying to do is get some of that platform...
trouble is, most e-sports games are highly speed and skill based - usually much too frantic and complicated to spectate vs. a...
playstation's camera is mainly a camera, and quite useful for live streaming/broadcasting. want to live stream with your face? here's a camera for you. it happens to be pretty decent with some 3D space awareness, etc. And it's basically no more expensive than any mid-high end webcam (at least at retail). and oh yeah, playroom is cute. but don't want to, don't worry about it...
microsoft's kinect is trying to be a controller, if not THE controller. for ...
oh my.. either the follow up to unfinished swan was so inspiring the dude had to leave for it or naughty dog is going through some serious shakeups... probably both.
maybe all those naysayers who said the consoles are dying actually were sort of right: sony just managed to put a package together that compelled what little console demand there was to lean heavily their way... i think sony recognized in its pricing and aggressive hardware choices that there just isn't really much wiggle room. either bring a lot of value on the table with a heavy priority on gamers or expect to get your ass handed to you once the launch day dust settles...
i saw like 7 or so:
- quantum break
- sunset overdrive
- below
- the neat kinect shadow one
- proj spark
- halo
- maybe some of those other indieish ones are also..
did i miss any?
better graphics won't fix the over-acting, shallow character development, and 2 dimensional 'gameplay', but better than nothing! the visuals definitely stretched the ps3 to the max, so having it run a bit smoother and all might be welcome...
there are a good bunch of people who really love that game though, and that might be enough to compel QD/Sony to try re-releasing it. maybe they'll even 'director's cut' it or something. an even more brillian...
wow, those are some hardcore japanese fans... did they bundle those in with ps4s or something? crazy
for a story this high on the hot meter, i'm amazed at how universally enthusiastic and friendly these comments are! guess good friday is a holy day after all!
funny way to announce steam release... the wall looked like it had room on its upper half. i suppose a little ps might fit there as well
wait, do those look like rails? psh.
most noticeable updates will probably be how they use the dualshock speaker... maybe crafting sounds will take place there
wish they offered upgrade options. i'd even bite the bullet if it were priced like so:
$30 std upgrade to remastered (basically covers the price of all the DLC + $10 upgrade)
$10 upgrade for season pass holders
the sequel looks sooooo good...
