online and campaign issues aside, BF4 at 900p def looked better than many of the 1080p titles out there, so very much agree going 900p can be worthwhile. like 900p 60fps might be preferable than 1080p 30fps for certain games...
ironically, motorstorm games were all about leaving the track. evolution could probably out-horizon FH2 if it wanted to - but they probably wanted to make a road racing game so badly after all that mud and dirt and getting screwed over by a natural disaster...
dude, that roll! tell me that popped a trophy!
$80 drop? would be ballsy, but hard to imagine unless for some even Halo 5 doesn't move units.
i wonder if they're saving all the silicon for the vita TVs... i'm excited about that little box, but i don't know. kind of suspect it's not going to make much of a splash sales-wise outside of core gamers
hilariously though, destiny's fallen captains will sometimes come by and teabag you after they kill you. so, yeah. code.
should've thrown in the vita and vita TV and a white DS4. and a second white PS4. and a thrustmaster wheel. and a trophy. like an Oscar, but molded out of shuhei's body. or antonio banderas. either one.
at least 3 people i know got ps4s because of destiny. and i barely have a social life. that game is selling systems no doubt about it. and man, for a while there, EVERYONE was playing it. it was like sitting at 50% of my online friends (usually ~40-80 are online at any given moment) were playing destiny at the same time like every day this past couple weeks. the list NEVER has looked that homogeneous - not for GTA, not for TLOU, not for anything I can remember in all the years I've been o...
yes, suprised with how important those darn environmental supplies are in the late game. kind of surprised activision didn't implement microtransactions for that stuff. let's count our blessings, i guess.
i totally farmed here for a while - but had no idea about the duplicate chests! i just loved how the enemies from both sides spawned so quickly and found it more fun than cave shooting. but i guess i'll be finding a lot of other people there with me next time i go there!
could just be someone's blink ability... haven't faced any real lag here yet, knock on wood. amazing this game hasn't really struggled network-wise out of the gate with as many people playing online as there are.
it's like doom never existed in your world. player vs. player multiplayer FPS's were born with shields/armor. Bungie's marathon didn't come too long after, and yes, there were ways to pick up armor/shields there, too. just because COD works well with its one shot kill speed doesn't mean all FPS games need to adopt its conventions to have 'competitive' PvP
the golden gun is amazing against strike bosses though!
bubble for you
yes, you are right. that chest piece bumped me up to 25 finally. man, getting to 26+ can be such a slog... really want to avoid caving to the cave...
was it just random that I got the same damn helmet twice in a row? totally made me not want to do the kill order again...
didn't they also say the best cheaters are on xbox 360 as well? kinda goes hand in hand
your ammo replenishes halfway automatically. empty all clips and then wait and see.
the global to date numbers are absurd: it's like 10m vs 5m craziness. this trend can't continue for microsoft much longer. if nothing changes 2015 install bases might be 10 million off (20m vs 10m). that's huge leverage lost for trying to get exclusive content etc...
i'm sure soon enough you'll see some of the launch window AAAs make the PS+ cut (killzone, knack, etc.), especially now that they fully recycle the list every month (probably an easier license/deal to pull off if nice and short like that).
