1080p or bust
omg, that ghost chapter was epic.
they even added last of us style gun sway to rambo's weapon
is this also making fun of lightning returns?
yeah, i think that might have been my game of 2014 so far
honestly, of all the games I've played through on Vita, Uncharted was one of the ones that was most disappointing. I think the idea of 'console gaming in your hands' is better than the reality. In reality, the Vita is just killer for games like platformers and RPGs or games with retro or hand-drawn/comic-like styling. Playing uncharted only made me wish I were in front of a TV (and not rubbing charcoal with my fingers). but hotline miami or SoTN or spelunky on the vita? so good......
@v6volume
and it's hardly a one night stand. more like a 5 year fling, where you don't even get to buy her a drink because you get too distracted by the next hottie flung onto your lap.. poor kate.
but yeah, the whole 'rental' argument against the instant game collection is easy to say, but holds no water in the real world.
the irony is that the people who complain about PS+ as a rental service are often the same ones who comp...
that's gonna be a lot of bluray discs... they couldn't fit UC1 and UC2 on one bluray at PS3 resolutions. how big will 1080p version of all those games be? i mean, it's totally a worthy use of hard drive space. but just saying...
every freakin month
nice
looks promising!
that's weird. i did the exact same thing and found the game fully installed and ready to go when i went back to the console... yeah, be sure to queue the download on the web store as well, not just 'buying' it.
i went nuts and put a 1TB full SSD in my ps4 and was actually not THAT impressed with the improvement. boot up is definitely faster, but I think there is something about the OS that doesn't really take full advantage. on my PC the SSD can make load screens almost non-existant, with few things/levels ever needing more than 5 seconds. resogun levels still have you sit there maybe 7 seconds or so. killzone's initial load also still takes a while. the benefits might not be that much bette...
PS4 can let you join a game you are spectating, too, but it's sort of up to the developer to allow it. PS4 is even planing to let spectators take over controls, though who knows when that will actually come out.. playstation now this summer first, and then that stuff i guess
would save on XBLG that way, too actually. you can up the budget by $60 or more depending on how many years of savings you want to spend now.
switch? doubt it. but take a plunge on an X1? maybe. PC titanfall will be enough for me (i think for me the beta was fun, but left me hopeful of a future singleplayer based in that world). but i'm all for microsoft trying to add more value. a price drop to under $400 would really do the trick for me, but every little bit helps...
people, an xbox spin off would be one of the best things to happen to xbox. a fully gaming focused enterprise that is run by people who care about it is a lot better than a department flailing around in a sea of multibillion dollar clouds and excel spreadsheets.
you could argue that playstation struggled in large part during the ps3 era due to its place within an electronics company; the magic you're seeing now with ps4 really is a byproduct of kaz, shu/andy, and gaming m...
no way, the vita sold out the gate better than the PS4? Interesting... the PS4 launch window/year titles better prove to be more compelling than the Vita ones were if Sony wants to avoid having to do a price drop or something; chances are good, but interesting perspective
best choice i made in playing this game was to play it on easy. the clock stress, death risk, and healing etc i'm sure are fine challenges to deal with on normal, but I just want to enjoy what is carried over from the prior titles (fast paced battles) and grab as much loot as I can before I run out of time or need to progress the story. it's a big game of supermarket sweep, honestly. and well, i kinda don't mind...
I've been telling people that lightning retu...
starhawk singleplayer was free some time ago i believe
wow, now that's a hell of a move. kinda sucks for the early adopters, but should definitely even things out vs. the competition
i actually don't think that engine looks very good at all. the lighting is not very nuanced at all. the textures all look super rigid (granted it's screenshots, but i think some of you know what i'm talking about). for a yakuza game, it could be super fun anyway. but i don't think the graphics are a highlight so far. the style and direction might be really fun, though.
pretty sure this is sarcasm/fake guys...
