probably have to craft bricks in real time, meaning, fill the mold, set it in the sun and let it cure/bake, etc., all while staying away from clickers. each brick could add 30+ hours of gameplay. good thing you practiced throwing them effectively in 'left behind' lest you miss and have to start over...
looks like a sanctum/starhawk + warframe hybrid, but with dead space movement speed... surprised amazon felt compelled to make it exclusive to its 'console'. people will buy that thing up because its amazon and can play amazon's video service among others. doubt an exclusive unfamiliar game is going to move units. if they made the game available on other consoles and then added some exclusive features on the fire or made it free to play with discounts on the fire, they might actua...
Wonder how you would've felt about Marathon when it came out...
ah, they've built in that guerrilla killzone interpolation frame guessing thing in there to help double framerate. clever...
i know it's for immersion, but can anyone explain to me why these VR headsets need to have motion tracking/control? as a video gamer, our bodies can probably adjust to controller-only 3D motion pretty well.
I feel like the games will ultimately suffer trying to take advantage of that motion/head tracking. I don't want to have to move or walk around in weird ways to enjoy an immersive game.
What if I could just slap one of these on and play in bed? Do ...
go figure; especially with how so many pc players could probably just get it straight from origin or through other outlets like gamefly, etc. vs the generally retail-focused console market.
another interesting tidbit is the question of whether this game has moved systems. given that there is a TF bundle available, it's surprising that the PS4 with no game is even outselling the X1 with free TF bundle; in fact, plain DS4s are outselling that bundle which is very strange......
there is no piece of sony marketing that isn't looked at by a bunch of eyes; that's no mistake and probably is a little easter egg clue a la the last of us clue in UC3. given that both flow and flower have already been given the treatment, it comes as no surprise that journey would follow as well; it's probably just a little trickier and taking longer given how much more technical and deep that game is with its sand and snow particles and flying and 'enemies' and more deta...
i'm disappointed not to see some street fighter 2 continue? countdown screen up in there.
weird. did anyone else see how second son is outselling titanfall? what the? isn't that game not even out yet? how the?
the sub 720p thing isn't a big deal; the 360 had a great scaler and most of the fps's people loved ran sub 720p. it's just unfortunate that the framerate is lower as well... but if the game still works and runs, then that's probably good enough. should still be fun and bring quite a bit of next gen flavor to the holdout crowd
if titanfall's mechanics and gameplay had killzone's graphics and multiplayer customizability... oh what a sweet baby that would be. throw in a tight, but epic, COD4ish campaign to make some sense of it all and create some character bonds, and we'd be looking at a masterpiece
i love how people care so much about that 0.1 that they are like '0.1 doesn't make a difference, just round it up!'
if the 0.1 doesn't matter to you, then what's the fuss - it doesn't matter to you, right? but if it does matter to you that it's a 9 vs an 8.9, then you know EXACTLY why it matters that he scored it an 8.9 and not a 9.0.
it seems that you care enough about how much better a 9 is than an 8.9. if they thought it was 9 (amazing) worthy, they would've given it one. instead, an 8.9 let's them say it is really great. not quite amazing, but really great.
it's not the xbox one's fault. the game engine just doesn't seem to have all its kinks worked out. it's pretty smooth most of the time on PC; but yes, those hiccups do happen regularly unfortunately. i'm just glad I even managed to finally play a little last night after a half hour of matchmaking waiting...
sigh... went for it and preloaded successfully before launch... only to see a connecting screen the entire time. love that 40 gig matchmaking window.
So much for them clouds. Preloaded for PC and unfortunately didn't get any slots on more than 100 matchmaking attempts and now stuck on an initialization screen... #thoughtthisonewasdifferentsig h
titanfall beta
i dont know; the graphics/lighting and mood look like they took a serious step backwards. can't tell if i'm watching a next gen or last gen game sometimes... should be interesting; i'm sure they're crunching hard and doing their best. good luck to them all
would've been fun if the seahawks threw them a free/cheap license out of mutual support... free product placement for the team and free easter egg/fan boost for the game
mode 7 or bust
