The only people who said that the PS3 was going to destroy 2007 were the Fanboys, not people who actually knew what they were talking about. There is no way in hell a console that is $600 is going to dominate when it doesn't have alot of games that will attract people to the system and is also that expensive. That being said the PS3 will have a great year in 08 because the price is more acceptable and more of it's known franchises are coming out.

That's a pretty big discrepancy. It damages the credibility of the article for me. But on the other hand that's alot of games!!!Though I did expect this to sell well so it's really not a surprise.

Why wouldn't it happen if the the PS3 is finally down to a reasonable price point for most people waiting to make the jump. Also there are a lot of good games for the PS3 right now.
Of course it's gonna be on the rise now that people are actually seeing ad's for it and the also the price drop.

Yeah I find it hard to believe that Nintendo can't produce more consoles that are cheap to make in the first place. This is artificial and they should stop playing because it could very well backfire and buoy sales of the 360 and PS3.

I don't really think that people buy the PS3 for movies I just think there are enough titles out there to appeal to more people. I have more than enough games to keep me satisfied but that's not how other people feel hence the attach rate.

I'm pretty sure you can find 1000 problems with Mass Effect(and any game for that matter) but the bigger question should be: Does it really matter if the game is fun to play?
Unfortunately the problem with the PC is that the parts to get the game to run smoothly are expensive and most people don't want to but the parts or don't know how to put them in. This is what hampers PC gaming now.
