I don't like Vista but it runs fine on my system. I would certainly prefer it over any iteration of Mac. With the SP1 i'm sure they'll fix most of the issues(hopefully) and make Vista widely adoptable. I'm getting tired of all these Vista sucks articles. You people act like XP was perfect when it came out, knowing it damn well wasn't. Put it rest... Damn.

First it's is doomed not a doomed. Secondly you talk about killzone being mediocre, what about Halo? Those games are overrated(pretty damn good though) but have enough people and enough marketing to sell well. MGS 4 and FF13 are 2 blockbuster titles that should get people off the fence. That isn't the only 2 games coming out next year though. With great marketing(as Bioshock, Halo and GOW have shown) games will sell out the a$$. If Sony markets their product consistently then I see no reason ...

Bad sales by what measure? 5.5 million in it's 1st year for $500 and not too many games that appealed to the market. I would say that pretty good. Wouldn't you?
Yeah I simply can't buy a standalone Blu-ray player. It seems like a waste of money when I can't get a PS3 and play games and watch movies. A standalone player doesn't make much sense now. Maybe if the price drops significantly or they add an enormous amount of features but other than this I can't see many people buying a standalone over a PS3.
Since I can't predict the future(and won't pretend like I can) I will say that if they continue their marketing blitz they will have a pretty decent chance of having a excellent year(better than 07 although 5.5 million in a year isn't bad).

If they wanted to revive their console in Japan then this is a good way to start. They do need to focus on games that appeal to the Japanese market(and not too westernized) otherwise increasing the amount of games won't do much. Great news though.
Yeah I think this tech won't be commercially available until at 2013. That being said this would be pretty cool.
As long as it doesn't become the next gamegear.
07 the show was a better overall game and unlimited features included this game might still be worse than 08 the show.
This is great news but Sony(let alone anybody) can seriously explect to compete with Apple and I tunes. XBOX live maybe(after all "PS3 owners only watch movies" end sarcasm) but it would have to be a really well developed.
I think this is Bull$hit. Let's not forget that Take 2(as a a whole company)has more than just the GTA franchise. Sports titles and some other franchises(which I can't recall) would have had to not sell anything for this to be true.
How the hell did this game sell for $9,100? Who in their right mind would spend this much on one game? What the hell is wrong with people nowadays...
Much props to Bioware. That a hell of a number for 3 weeks. But I think more credit should go MS's marketing team. Let's be real.. Without the marketing blitz that MS put out for this game would it have sold as well? That being said damn good job for MS and Bioware!
A lot people go off of name recognition. That is the best thing that HD-DVD has going for it. People can easily identify HD-DVD to DVD by the title and feel comfortable buying it.
Simple... The casual market hasn't really been tapped and the Wii has opened the reservoir, to great success.
It's crap to you and some people. Review scores don't mean much because each person has their own bias. That being said I happen to like Halo(2 more than 3) but I thought the percentage was higher than 52%.
