This is great news for the shareholders of the company and people who like Sony. Keep in mind this is the COMPANY WIDE share price, not just the gaming division. This bodes well for everyone who likes Sony electronics(like me).

I'm fine with my Roadrunner in the US.

Yeah...we'll see if that's true or not.

This i great news for Sony but i'm getting tired of seeing percentage gains. Give the actual number of console sold compared with the period before(or whichever you were comparing it to). Giving a percentage has a good effect of obscuring the truth(be it good or bad)

Then again some people are just ignorant. Plain and simple.

It's not filled with hate. It's called heated discussions. These happen all the time in debates.

Yeah I think Vista gets a bad rap for little reasons. I have it running on my laptop(dual boot with XP of course) and it runs fine. I'm not thrilled about Aero because it eats up alot of memory but there are alot of very cool things about Vista that deserves praise(not scorn). And I still think it's better than Leopard.

Once again where did he go to see this many? Cause I know my gamestop and other game stores in my area didn't have any. This also comes down to how many they actually had in stock. Something being in stock can be a good thing if you sold plenty. That just means that you had an ample supply of them.

Let this problem persist so the Apple loses the footing it gained in the US

I don't blame Sony for not fixing it because I'm pretty sure all consoles(and consumer electronics) have warranties that cover everything except (gross)neglect, which this obviously was.

Sucks to be them(although not really with the money they are raking in right now)

I don't know about these people but I will be damned if i'm paying $1000 for a Wii(US Dollar). I just don't think it's worth it but apparently there alot of people who do. I don't agree with Nintendo's strategy of holding supplies(possibly since no can confirm this) but from a business standpoint it's pure gold.

I don't think AMD is going away(though i'm starting to worry a little bit). At least I hope they don't because I would hate to have to buy Intel chips only with little or no alternative.

First and foremost he called the Wii the Revolution so I'm not tempted to believe this article. In any event the 360 would be better than the PS3 in some areas because it's been out for longer and has a similiar architecture to a PC making it easy to program for. The PS3 is different and takes a little bit some time to learn how to program for(though R&C showed they are getting close).

If they remade Chrono Cross or FF7 I'm sure that would easily sell millions in no time flat. A remake of Xenogears(not Xenosaga which was a great series but was a little too much for some to people to get into)would sell well also. And there is no doubt that a new Mario RPG(not paper mario but like the original Mario RPG) would sell equally as well. That would be a game that would make me get a Wii.

Damn technology is getting smaller and smaller every time I check.

Actually it's kind of split because I know a lot of Corporation still use Tape drives, though that's slowly being phased out.

The reason for this(like most people already know) is that they have no reason to deviate from regular DVD's until they either gain a greater understanding of the differences between the two or they become the exact same price or cheaper than DVD's

6783d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

No argument there. DVD's still account for a ridiculous amount of market share and the average consumer doesn't know much about HD or the benefits of it so why would they pay more?

6783d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah it's already been shown that complacency kills and is bad for any market.
