I sincerely hope that this wasn't the Studio that made Fight Night because if it is then i'm gonna be really pissed at EA for shutting down the studio that made one of their best games to date. This wouldn't be a smart move for EA if this were the case.
I agree with you that Halo 3 and COD 4 are different types of shooters and therefore can't seriously be compared. But with Forza 2 and GT5 I don't think the difference is that clear cut. That's your personal opinion. I happen to think that GT4 is more realistic than Forza 2 and I can't compare GT5 because it hasn't come out yet. Just like you this is simply my opinion and NOT a fact.

What math are you guys doing? If they sold them $99 and made them for $200 then they $9 million not $900,000. If they made them for $300 then they would have lost $18 million. Get your math straight. Also I think they would take that hit to get the players into people's homes though.
Although this will probably be a big loss I'm sure GOW 3 will come out just fine. There are alot of talented people on that team and i'm sure one departure(nevermind his position) won't severly hurt the overall quality of the game.
Unfortunately for Nintendo they will never court the hardcore gamers that they are currently ignoring(for the most part) by focusing on the casual market. He talks about the consoles losing money but they will start to turn a profit(Like most systems do)and then what?You can sell all the systems you want but when people only buy 1-2 games and play them sparingly that's really no basis for you say that your "walloping" something else. Go 360 and Sony!!!
Ocarina Of Time is the best Zelda made. There was very little to fault in that game.. if anything.
I like the PS3 but I always loved ATI cards. I'm not really fond of Nvidia but I will admit that the 8800 is an impressive piece of Hardware.
This is arguably one of the greatest games of all time but nobody has emulators to play this?
It's still too early to say that Sony is going to win but this beyond a shadow of doubt help them close the wide gap between the 360(Neither is really competing with the Wii). And people will pick a 360 over this because the games don't suit their personal tastes. This is reason enough and is a basic principle which shouldn't be that hard to understand.
I must admit that I always hated the Pats but the Raiders basically handed the Patriots the Super Bowl. The only team who can stop all those weapons on offense is the Colts(Who should have won that game if not for the fumble). I want someone to beat the Patriots but I honestly don't think it's going to happen.

On the surface this sounds kind of cool but I want see some more details and a price point.
I seriously disagree with the cost of making these players primarily because technology can advance a significant amount in a year really bringing down the price. The cost now is probably somewhere around $150-200. How credible is this figure?
It's about time that they started using the "inferior" cell properly. It's only a matter of time before the learning curve gets to be a non-issue.

I think GOW 3 will be great on PS3 and will showcase the full potential of the PS3 since it won't come out until maybe 2009 or the end of 2008.
