There is no difference between fanboys of different consoles. They all favor their console and defend their console despite being wrong or denying solid evidence. With that being said the SDF do make some pretty outrageous statements and I almost busted my gut laughing at that Mario Galaxy review.
I don't think the price of out future is the past. All of the classics(Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, Zelda just to name a few) are easily replayable and no one who has played these games can say that they have fell out of favor or aren't "timeless"
I'm normally against the death penalty but this is ridiculous... If you can't kill them then at least try them as adults and give them LWOP. I don't give a damn how old they are, there is no way your not going to know that you are using lethal force, let alone on a child.

Point well taken. I don't think Gears will be on the PS3 at all but you've got to admit that(hypothetically)a game will sell more on 2 consoles than it will 1.
how long has Gears been out? How long has UT3 been out? How much competition did Gears have? How much does UT3 have? Enough said..
The reason why I was never a big PC gamer was the cost of building a quality rig which can run the newest games. The costs of everything can run anywhere from $800 to a couple of thousands. That's way too much money to spend on a gaming machine that will need to be updated in another 2-3 years.

Yeah I only watch a handful of shows(Heroes being my favorite). Most of them aren't very interesting and I would rather much spend my time doing something interactive(like playing games)
I don't believe this not one bit. Also it doesn't matter much to me as I'll already have a great RPG to play in FF13.
I honestly can't understand why MS didn't already have the price cut. If they cut the price it would definitely cut into Sony's sales. I don't think waiting makes much sense. Hell i'm waiting for a price cut so I can buy one. The longer they wait, Sony builds up more momentum which wouldn't be good for them.
Yeah I doubt this is true. There are shortages but I think the demand will continue to be strong, especially since the children want their Wii(over the 360 and PS3).
I don't think they are engineering the shortage. It's their japanese business model. They don't want to risk stepping up production and flooding the market with Wii's, which will decrease the demand. They don't want to repeat the mistakes they made with the gamecube. Yes they are losing potential sales but how many people are going to give up trying to find one for their children?(since it's a more attractive choice for children than the 360 or PS3). Wasn't the PS2 cheaper when it launched. I'm pretty sure that was the cause for the demand. Also it's already known that the PS3 is a victim of the PS2's success. Most PS2 owners don't yet see the need to buy a PS3 because their PS2 isn't going anywhere. You don't think this matters?
Yeah. That's your opinion though. The point that I was making was that everyone has different tastes. I happen to think Heavenly Sword is a great game but I don't like Halo 3. Looking at the best looking games of the new generation, I'm amazed at how many people actually care about 1080p. The best games were 720p and those amazing. That's enough of a reason for me to not care at all whether the game is 720p or 1080p. 720p looks fine to me.
