Okay am I wrong or was Live the best online service until recently? I have lots of respect for Live but all i'm seeing are stories about live problems. What the hell is going on?
Obviously the Wii is winning. I think he means among the Hardcore gamers and consoles sold, which in this case the 360 would be the current leader(thanks to an early release which has paid dividends for MS).
Agreed Peg. It's actually good to see them humble about something for a change.
Hell the main reason why people return Digital TV's is because the standard TV picture doesn't look as good as they thought it would.
There's a surprise. There stock has been rising for the past 2 months(I think before that but i'm not sure) Their consumer electronics division is doing well, especially their TV sets. The PS3 starting to pick up with the continued success of the PS2 means great things for their shareholders.
Correct me if i'm wrong but what section is this under? Is it not industry. Given the format that the next gen games are on is this not relevant(though extremely saturated as of late)news?
The only game i'm really looking forward to is Lost Odyssey. I can't wait for that game to come out and I hope it sells a million.
You would think this is supposed to happen for a console that has been out a full year longer than the competition right? Come on Zhuk be serious man. Also he works for MS so of course he is going to "expect" their sales to be the highest and think that multiplats will look better on their system.
It's rare that I agree with Zhuk but he's got a point. Vista has it's problems but you all forget it was the same way with XP. Vista will be widely adopted in about 2-3 years. The service patches will come and Vista will improve so stop Bit**in.
Don't get me wrong I still prefer playing with a controller in FPS's but the mouse/keyboard setup would nullify this guys whole argument, dumb as it as from the start.
Of course this is going to happen. There is little to no support for HD-dvd.
Damn HD-DVD just can't get a break can they?
Congrats to MS for the success that is XBOX live. You may have to pay for it but it's damn good service(up until recently anyway)
Well if you want to take that tack then the US is MS's escape goat, as it has a big hardware failure problem and they've gotten their customers to not even care. I'll give credit to MS on that one though.
Damn dude does your throat ever stop hurting from sucking MS off? Be passionate about your console but damn keep it check. My goodness..
I haven't tried it yet but i'm assuming that since there are USB ports on the PS3 you can use a wireless keyboard/mouse which is by far the tool for FPS gaming.
Oh come on... I thought it was going to be something groundbreaking. All he can say is it's the controller? Purely personal opinion. For FPS's can't you use a USB mouse and keyboard on the PS3? FOr everything else the remote on the PS3 is more than enough. I really don't see the point he's trying to make.
If it's was my format I would say the same thing. Although it's not dead HD-DVD is moving quickly to get there. How can your format win if you have little or no studio support on your side and the sales are stacked against you losing 2:1 and 4:1 in some instances?
I'll bet you this: If Walmart goes Blu-Ray exclusive then it won't really matter.
This makes more sense than just cutting the player off. There are still HD-DVD add-ons circulating. They should be able to sell those(for current 360 owner)getting a profit and not taking a write down for abandoning them. Also what other choice do they have?
