Since Epic have filed a counter to Silicon Knights asking for at least $650,000 the game could be in trouble. Let's hope the game isn't affected, but if the case results in the game having to be redesigned on a new engine expect a 2 year wait at least.

Hopefully some sort of settlement can be reached and the game isn't affected for you 360 guys. Just hope this Epic V Silicon Knights issue doesn't affect the game release directly...

In the recent poll on what Japanese gamers thought of the 360 Elite the number 1 answer given was "I am worried about overheating and loud noises from the console". 360 isn't doing well in Japan, not just in the sales but its image has suffered severely.

No where in the answers given did it suggest they liked the 360 other than the least given answer (Approx 5-10%): "Having the Core, Premium and Elite gives the consumer a better selection".

I ...

Home has been in development for two and a half years, before the 360 was even released. So Sony aren't copying XBL at all.

Bubble for you!

Not just because it's a pro-Sony post but because you were correct with everything you said.

A lot of the 360 guys are good sports, those people I like. You know the ones I mean, the guys that may have some underlying bias for the 360 but on the whole they stay objective and if a game is good (like HS) they'll say it's good.

I tend to use that useful ignore button on guys that are blatant fanboys. It's okay to have a slight bias tow...

After watching the making of vid yesterday this game is more of a movie-game than a video-game. Huge team working on it, brilliantly acted cutscenes, awesome action, huge scale. It'll get a 9 or 10 if the reviewers aren't slipped a check from MS.

The Gears symbol apparently represents what the game will be based on (no not Gears of War), they'll be doing a form of parody of other games. Like having a monkey dressed in the Master Chief suit, or a Gears-based sketch.

They'll be taking the big games and having a laugh at them in Free Radical style.

I read about this in the OPSM a few weeks ago about the new TS game. They won't be attacking other games in an offensive manner, just having a laugh with them rat...

He said he is going to get the port of Twisted Metal sorted out for the PS3, and then make 3 exclusive PS3 games. Awesome!

Btw Calling all Cars IS worth the money, dunno how anyone can say otherwise. It's a great party game! Lots of fun!

Looking forward to finding out about these new games. Lots of positive stuff for Sony over the last few days.

You get a bubble for that avatar lol. Timesplitters shall return!

Jealous this one is. Full of hate he is too.

Sony won't force Home upon people. I may be lucky in that I have a good wireless router and can go online anywhere in my house but some people have to move their router around and use an ethernet cable and it all just gets too impractical to have to connect to use your PS3.

However, if there was an offline version. Say you had your apartment and could access the different parts just like the XMB then I wouldn't have a problem. But I still think it should be optional.

Just give it a few more weeks for an NA demo. I don't think we'll be seeing a EU demo over here for a while though because of the different release dates unfortunately...

Lair and Stranglehold will have to wait a few more weeks I think. It's nice to actually see some PSN updates for this week imo. Wasn't expecting anything. So something is better than nothing.

Just got round to buying Calling all Cars so have that to play. Had my doubts about buying it before but I'm now glad I did. Still haven't beaten Nucleus, flippin difficult game. Most of the PSN games are quality titles. Super Stardust instantly springs to mind.

Slight sarcasm in the title there lol. If the devs said they couldn't comment on the PS3 version then there is a PS3 version lol, and it's not a case of 'if' it's a case of 'when'.

I have little to no interest in Bioshock even if it came to the PS3. I have my games list already fully formed and I don't think Bioshock would make the cut in all honesty.

They weren't going to be updating the graphics that much and the multiplayer will be a touched up version of Halo 2. They said that the singleplayer should look better than the multiplayer but the gameplay is when Halo 3 is focused.

Singleplayer graphics will be the true graphics of Halo 3.
Multiplayer graphics will be touched up Halo 2 graphics (To help reduce online lag which is understandable)

Listen to me lol. Defending Halo 3 and I'm a PS3 guy. Whats ...

Definately need ad spots. Haven't seen an ad for the PS3 in the UK as of late. I expect Sony will hit hard with the ads in September.

Need ads for Killzone 2, just to show people what next-gen gaming is all about. True system seller for sure.

If Killzone 2 is set to be immersive how exactly do disc changes help keep the player immersed in the game? They don't, instead they seriously detract from it.

Technically probably yes, realistically definately no.

Don't get me wrong I'm not having a go at you edonus, I just don't think multi-disc games do the 360 any favours...

Sequels have always come under attack as to whether or not they can live up to their predecessors. Whether the comparision is in the form of comparing the storyline, the gameplay or the graphics standard at the time. Killzone 2 is what true next-gen games should be aiming for when they try to produce a realistic and immersive game.

Optimisation is the key word for Killzone 2, it's not even near the final stages of developement and already looks this good. With optimisation and ...

And of course more demos.

MS haven't officially admitted the console has hardware problems all they've done is try to brush the damage under the carpet by putting up a smokescreen in the form af a 3 year warranty.

That's not fixing the issue; that's just brushing it aside. A warranty isn't a fix it's a silencing tactic to shut everyone up and hope the complaints go away.
