In the articles posted on here claiming they'd compared it, it was the reporters and interviewers that talked about comparisons, not the devs. They've been making Haze and focusing on that, not a comparison against a game that has enough hype to blow a whole in the planet.

The devs never started the comparison, reporters did. The devs never mentioned Halo 3 in an article and never compared Haze to it either. The article on here weeks back made it look like the devs started it but they didn't.
The questions and comparisions were made by the guys asking the questions, not those answering them.

Btw, Has anyone seen the pictures of the dedicated servers sites used for Warhawk? They're server racks with PS3's mounted on them lol. Looks amazing with the dozens of stacks, and with a few dedicated server placements in different regions it's no wonder this game is practically lag-free.

The PS3 is currently that expensive piece of kit that people will buy when they see a price drop over here in the UK. However, with these two games at £15 each, they've pushed Bioshock (LE) and the Wii off the top two spots and that makes Sony and the PS3 look good; it also makes Lair and Folklore look good.

Personally, I think the 3 shows are all we need. E3 is the 'preview event' that showcases the upcoming games for the rest of the year and into the next year. GC and TGS are the places to show off the latest (or final) builds for games and ramp up the hype for them.
We don't really need any extra events, let the devs do their jobs and make great games. We've had E3, we've been hit by GC and then we get hit by the games and TGS to finish ...

Haze has never been compared to other games by the devs or designers themselves in articles it's been the sites and the guys interviewing the devs or designers that've said stuff like "This looks better than Halo 3". The devs have just got on with their jobs and made a great FPS.

DiRT has been improved upon since release on the 360 with better crash physics apparantely. So this demo is of the new PS3 build.

I think it is imo. I don't think you'll see an FPS on the 360 beat Bioshock now in terms of graphics and storyline. Yes, that includes Halo 3...
Fortunately for us PS3 owners, it hasn't even begun yet. The PS3 won't peak until at least 2009 so we have a lot of quality stuff to look forward to in the future...
Yesterday I said Bioshock deserved a 10/10. I've had to revise my argument for Bioshock based on something that's seriously been nagging me since it was mentioned on the gaming show EpilepticGaming.
The minigame in Bioshock is what I'm talking about, the rather rubbish minigame that imo means this IGN score is correct and the 10/10's aren't. Was it overlooked by other reviewers and sites due to the hype? Yes imo.
Perfect scores imo should be for a flawless game, ...
