All I need to know is that she is a girl. Gamer girl or not. Although being a gamer gives her kudos.

The game is repetitive and seemed to be put together by a mob of Bronze Medal winners of the Special Olympics. I threw up in my mouth half-way through the game. It feels so bad after you play it that you'll hop in the shower and scrub your skin like some sort of rape victim. In the words of the fat comic book dude from The Simpsons: Worst. Game. Ever.

I agree with the points made here. I don't mind paying for DLC - but some of the prices are usually a bit ridiculous. I would rather pay $70 - 80 bucks for a game, personally, and have unlimited DLC (which is something the developers should think about). Just off of DLC these devs make a crap load of money...

It's probably the nicest looking game I've seen with regards to the sports genre. The models are excellent, the textures are great... everything about it feels solid. Just played it and I'm diggin' the controls.

Rampage FTW!

The graphics are probably the best I've seen in a sports game. I'm downloading it in a few to test out the controls. So far, though, it sounds and looks amazing. As an MMA fan, I'm looking forward to this.

The sheer number of things that can be done with an imagination and a "hitchhiker thumb".

but when it comes down to it, any and all game's entertainment factor all depends on the individual's opinion. RE5 wasn't the best in the series, but it had its strengths. The controls _are_ iffy at first, but once you get used to them, it becomes second nature; just like any other game (i.e. Deadspace). SF4, in my opinion, is great. Although it's not any of its predecessors, SF4 delivers. It takes it back, somewhat, to the days of SF2 in the way its executed with mechanics from other SF ...

@XLiveGamer

Before you even consider uttering blatant calls of fanboyism to either Morganfell or myself, please take a look at your name. Thanks. With that said, no one is arguing which console is best here, we're discussing Sony's stance on price cuts. You should probably learn to read thing in context before exploding into ludicrous name calling. Personally, as I'm sure with most folks who prefer one console over another (which isn't fanboyism because no one here is worsh...

I highly doubt that any change in price would shy away any first party studios Sony currently has under their belt.

I will agree that Sony's expensive console does provide some sort of separation between a mature and non-mature crowd (not a lot of parents are willing to cough up $400-500 on a console) and it IS a savior in contrast to Xbox Live's immature audience, but to use it as an excuse to maintain an overpriced console is just nonsense, I'm sorry.

Sony's ...

is definitely something I'm going to pick up. The most attracting thing about it, I think, is the fact that they have implemented a "Shop" features (a la Wii Shop) which let's you purchase games. God knows the amount of things that will be available on that thing. What is there not to like about it besides the fact it doesn't play GBA games?

Awesome article.

An Earthworm Jim next-gen SHOULD be made, dammit!

From the impressions, the games sounds pretty solid. It's good to see developers really taking advantage of the iPhone's capabilities. And some people thought it would turn out to be just another N-Gage - HA!

Can't wait for this game to drop. Looks fun as hell.

It's like saying "Porn stars like sex," "Fat people love food," or "Dunkin' Donuts makes donuts". Better yet, "Gamers love games."

Exposure to violence is just about everywhere. It's in society, period. You can't pry a child away from seeing what's obvious. The role of a parent is important because what they nurture their children with determines how they will react with nature (their surroundings). What these people who worry about ho...

It's a rumor. Since when have you heard of a reliable rumor? It can or cannot be true. Only time will tell.

Sony better have something super if they even plan to counter this. I know for a fact that they won't re-counter with another price drop. Simply because they're barely profitting off the PS3 now. Bundles, Sony, bundles are your best friend right now. Make use of them in the nice little comfort zone of affordability.

Great article indeed. The author really points out why gaming is such a fad beyond the point of entertainment. It just distracts our thoughts sometimes.

Been raping kids in Killzone 2 and COD4. During tough times, when my woman's not around to hold me, and I'm no longer in the mood to force-hugh my pillow and sob, gaming does it for me. Tough times indeed, my friend. Tough times indeed.
