This game looks great. If the creators of Painkiller made this game, you know this game is going to kick all sorts of anuses.

I have both the DSi and the PSP and I can say that I only own a handful of games for each. Not really a lot that appeals to me; thank god that my psp can play things like snes games and what not.

The constant immaturity that plagues the gaming community is something that definitely adds fire to the flames. Not saying we should be stuck-up a$$es, but maybe arguing stupid things like "My console pwns yours" isn't making things better.

They came into this race thinking they didn't have to advertise as strongly because their last two consoles sold strongly (which is very naive). Sony has a great product. All the really need to do is advertise it correctly and I'm sure it'll be done much better than what it's doing.

And the game itself is awesome too. I have to say, this is the first Madden game in years that actually gripped my attention.

I am super excited for this game! :D I pray to Jesus that it's better than the first with regards to story.

Sony has great vision and had great commercials. The fact that there is no money is an excuse that people want to use to support Sony's non-conforming advertising. During the era of PS1 and PS2, they advertised those consoles religiously; and it got them the attention they deserved. My beef with them is that they don't advertise when they need to. Killzone 2 is an example; Ratchet and Clank Future is an example; etc. There are games that deserve the attention of Sony's advertising team. ...

Sony just needs to realize that it takes ads to sell. They marketed the PS1 and the PS2 beyond belief and it made them two of the most successful consoles of all time. I'm not indicating that the PS3 isn't successful, but it only shows me, personally, that Sony is dependent on their brand name than anything else. They've already established themselves as a solid console maker; they're just hoping that their avid fans from the previous consoles will see that they've made a new console, and ...

Great games are great games. But in order to get potential consumers to purchase those great games, advertisements need to be taken into consideration. The author makes a good point - if sony would continue to show off their Play B3yond commercials (which are awesome, I might add), I'm pretty sure the install base would probably increase. In business, if you want consumers to buy your product, you're going to have to give them incentives as to why. Sony is relying more on their name... and...

However, we have to take into consideration that the spread of information wasn't as vast in the days of NES and SNES as they are now. Right now, there we can even use our mobile phones to send information; the Internet was the culprit which spawned the fanaticism we see today day-to-day. I'm pretty sure if the Internet was as big in the 80's and early 90's as it is now, we would have probably seen the same things. Fanboyism is molded from obsessive people. Company marketing is just a sma...

Trying to argue with people like that is like trying to teach a paraplegic to clap - they will never get it. I just looked at his report history and he reports articles because HE feels they are lame. Shows how mature N4G has become...

You, my friend, apparently have an issue with numbers. When relating to time, the larger the number, the longer in time its been in existence. *sigh* This is what the "community" has turned to...

PES, although wasn't as good as FIFA in the past, seems to be picking up a lot where they lacked. Their whole new system seems pretty appealing and is very innovative. November is around the corner; I'm going to pick it up and see what it does.

x__JL__x, gaffyh and ElementX hold hands and sing cumbaya over camp fires as they try to wash off the bitterness they have towards writers. Apparently, you can't take guys like these seriously. These are the type of "gamers" that prefer to read about boobs on Dead or Alive. Ergo, they're pretty much immature.

Not many people share these kind of stories with the world. It's good to see that gaming proved to do something positive. Many folks like to argue that gaming is just a violent expression of entertainment - why is it that stories like these never get attention. Oh, I know why. Because people like to instill derogatory thoughts in society's head simply because Johnnie killed Daddy for not buying him Madden. The problem was there before Madden, folks.

is going to be great. The graphics look insane and the new additions they added are very intriguing. I hope it plays as good as it looks.

This game looks beast. Gonna watch the trailer again. This time, though, popcorn and a drink will accompany me.

Many things are debunked to later be released. Sony knows that if consumers are asking for it repeatedly, then they really want it out there. With that, it give Sony an incentive to work on whatever the consumer wants - especially if it brings them a good profit (in this case, backwards compatibility and PS2 titles on the PSN).
