Haven't played the demo. But, from the looks of it, the game looks pretty good and like a solid improvement from the first one. Glad to see that they listened to the fans of the first.
I'm already spooging. Thanks for that.
I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Now, Valve. Where is Half Life 3? o_O
Very interesting and good article. To me, I think Final Fantasy X probably did it for me with Tidus going bye-bye after he and Yuna fall in love. Although Aerith getting shanked in the back by Sephiroth while the theme song played was also pretty tragic...
It was a strong franchise when it released. It started going to crap as every release became repetitive with regards to peripheral(s), and Rock Band released. There's really nothing fresh being done with the franchise. I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long.
I hate teasers as much as I hate watching blind hobos beg for money on the subway. However, I am interested in finding out who tailored her chestless body suit. Valentine's Day is approaching, and I need something kinky to get my girlfriend to wear.
I have to say, that was some awesome cleavage going on there. I'm looking forward for some *real* gameplay footage.
Pretty harsh score. But, after reading how the writer felt, I can see why he would give it such a score. Poor bastard developers.
LOL Those were great. I like the Magicka one. Classic.
I'm pretty sure that's going to be the case. 3D is becoming the new "thing" this generation. Although it might not seem sensible at some cases, developers might try to shove it in as many titles as they can to lure in the more casual crowd. Damn you, Avatar. Damn you.
I'm curious to know what they're going to unveil during tomorrow's event. Agreed with Chadness above - please announce a Xenoblade release.
I'm a hardcore Kingdom Hearts fan. So it's pretty sad to see that Re: coded isn't as "great" as the previous titles. Hopefully, with the upcoming releases for the 3DS and the next gen consoles, the series will pick up some slack.
I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy music overall. Although VII did have a great soundtrack, I think that my favorite overall one of them all, however, has to be "The Road to Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X (opening piano theme). It had so much emotion imbued in it and is beautifully composed.
Then the question should be what is considered a hardcore gamer? And how would you label someone as one? You have new age gamers that play just about everything and consider themselves casual gamers. Yet I play just about everything myself, and I consider myself hardcore. Is this constituted by personal opinion, the amount of time dedicated to the hobby, etc.? It is a term used very loosely. But it's also a label that is hard to place on gamers as there is no ideal definition for the word...
Prime example as to how good looking games aren't always the greatest. This is something that's been somewhat of a re-occurrence this generation where some folk are completely mislead by visual ecstasy and not core mechanics/story. Sucks that the game was only "okay." Was looking to getting it. Rental it is.
Wow. That was a pretty egregious review. Oh well... it is the opinion of the reviewer, I guess. And it's better to have opinions based on the merit of the game and not the console, as most people review nowadays.
I was looking forward to this, and the Move, but have decided to hold off since there isn't anything appealing that's been brought to my attention yet. Meh... Maybe Sorcery will do better.
A pricehike in XBL isn't amazing even with games like Reach, Gears 3 and Fable 3 coming out.
The problem is *justifying* the price increase. There's no substance that is *game* related with the $10.00 increase that Microsoft is adding. The majority of the features that are available on XBL (such as Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) are all FREE everywhere else and don't offer any game-related perks to which GAMERS can take advantage of. Why should we have to pay ...
I think this makes sense considering the amount of people, internationally, that continuously create "cross-accounts" to purchase or download items/games/demos from other regional PSN stores. Moving forward, I think that Sony should definitely consider something along these lines to unify the PSN experience, rather than having people create multiple PSN accounts to access another region's PSN store.
Meh... I lost interest in MAG a while ago. At first, it seemed so amazing. Not that it's horrendous, but it isn't as *exciting* as I thought it would be. I'm not sure that, until I see some concrete changes in a lot of areas, that I'll be getting this anytime soon.
I would love to sit here and put all the blame on the publishers/developers for instituting this idea into games, but, reality is, it is more the fault of the consumer for eating this up from the beginning. That's the issue with everything nowadays -- people conform to changes, often egregious ones, without acting on it, and then complain. Of course Warner Bros. might do this. Rather than make these features fully available for us, they want to make it a privilege. Things that were once fr...
