Agreed. This is the best podcast thus far.
Of course you're not a fanboy. You're just hyperventilating over the fact that someone has a personal opinion about a specific console. I mean, that's not in no way exercising fanboyism with the preach you gave above. /end sarcasm
And your whole rant about just putting number on a review clearly confirms that you have no obvious argumentive or discussion skills in your poor quality of comedy.
Again, you go on to say "with a staff that don't turn on their con...

The definition of a "troll" is someone who posts off-topic, extraneous messages. I believe you started that.
Oh, dude, lol, I love MW2. Not saying that the game is horrendous for having glitches, because, as you say, every game has them. However, the big difference in that is the fact that Infinity Ward doesn't respond to these problems as quick as other devs do. That is a problem. Releasing a game (and I'm pretty sure they had to have Q&A/Testing going on) with a number of issues that could have *probably* been isolated before release is a problem.
I'm not going to stop playing ...
Let's just hope that you don't get any STDs from that Wii, Chad.
I definitely agree with the backwards compatibility issue. That's something that Sony definitely dropped the ball on, and was pretty stupid for them not continue to include the PS2 Emotion Engine (although the graphics synthesizer is still there). But they did that in order to cut down on production costs. Already, Sony was taking a pretty big loss with the PS3 when they first launched the PS3. To reduce the cost, Sony began looking at options to reduce manufacturing costs, mainly by removing...
Realistically, though, with the competiion that Sony currently has, they really have no choice but to be more business/profit driven. It's not like back in the day when they were in competition with Sega and the at-the-time-dwindelling Nintendo. Stakes are much higher and they need to do what they can in order to stay competitive. Third party publishers didn't really exist back in the day as it was Sony who was pulling in just about everything these guys had to offer. Microsoft joined in and ...
As did I. I liked LBP at first. It was a very fun game, and cutesie. But, after a while, it just got... meh. My girlfriend loved it, though. Sackboy is the man.
Personally, I've been sold to MAG. I've been hearing great things about that game and I'm actually thinking about hopping on over to that game.
Modern Warfare 2 is plagued with a lot of consistent issues which Infinity Ward needs to look into before DLC. What good is DLC when some noticeable elements are broken and plaguing the overall experience of the game? Not to say that MW2 isn't an entertaining game, but Infinity Ward's track record of "fixing" their games aren't good at all.
A mediocre score isn't that bad. But I was sincerely hoping for something a bit better, honestly.
Heh, a baby's laughter or crying is scary as hell in anything horror-related. And the fact that they're running about in Dante's Inferno trying to kill you is a bit... yea... I won't sleep.
Good read. I've been hearing quite some bit about the corrupt save file issue from a couple of folks; this can definitely ruin an experience. Let's hope this gets fixed soon.
@pimpmaster
The story for Dante's Inferno isn't anything new, bud. It's taken from the Divine Comedy, which was written a couple of hundred years ago. EA just added a bit of their own twist (i.e. fighting, etc.); but other than that, there really isn't anything unique from the game itself. With regards to the disappearing bodies, listen to Cranium.
@pimpmaster
I really hate having to come on N4G and insult anyone for their opinions, but yours is just... well, ridiculous. As stated by raz, that little PSN demo you played was an *alpha* build from last year's E3. Alpha. And even at it's alpha stage, GoW III looked better than a lot of games that released last year, and games releasing this year. The mechanics, although not polished, still provided people with positive expectations, which was what the demo was meant to do.
lol we live in NYC too, Jsynn. Every time I buy apparel like that binary watch and go to bars in the village, I get some really funny looks. A lot like "Where the hell did he get that watch?" or, of course, "WTF is he doing with that watch?"
Well written review, imo. It's just too bad that Dynasty Warriors has been falling off :\
Now that is one funny pic, _vx. Even though your sentence(s) make absolutely no sense to me with its grotesque punctuation, I'm loving the image you have lol.
Funny thing about that video is that the Bad Company 2 game being played wasn't running on it's highest settings. In fact, as per the visual director, the game was running on it's lowest setting and it looked amazing. What will the game look like on its highest settings? Close to Crysis. Not exactly Crysis, but amazingly close to it.
