@Millah
You, sir, are correct.
I really enjoyed FFX, even though some people weren't too fond of it. Legend of Dragoon was another RPG that thrived off of button timing/combinations - and that was one helluva game.
It's funny that he states something like this in his defense after he's already been exploited for being an egotistic ignoramus and a liar.
Jim Sterling thrives on attention which is why he does his tiring rants about <insert illogical topic here to piss of X group>. He has a handful of achievements on his XBL account in which it seems he did complete it. Personally, for someone to have a strong influence to whether or not purchasing a game is valid (and yes, even though hi...
I'm a greedy bastard. I keep everything. Even X-Blades which was the most ridiculous game I've ever played.
Personally, I'm a collector so even the most atrocious games I keep. But, for me, a keeper is a game that leaves a solid emotional attachment - that tends to happen with games with great stories. But there are games (action) that are fun as hell and give off that feeling that you might go back to it again someday.
I'm going to consume large quantities of sugar just to have that same energy you have.
As for waiting two years, I say yes. Nintendo is dropping handhelds like they should be dropping games on the Wii. And I'm not talking about Pony Princess games - *good* games.
I love RTS games, but this one just looks like it's going to make me somewhat dizzy.
That guy is French. Now where is Captain Obvious when I need him?
It's only a couple of more days (3 to be exact if you don't count today). That said, you're going to definitely have a great time playing the game.
God of War III delivered. The wait was definitely worth it. My question, though, is what is Santa Monica Studio working on now...
You need to want this game. This game is by far the best game I've played to date with regards to the genre.
Some people are all for this over 2K10 and vice versa. I'm wondering which game is actually much more realistic in the sense of gameplay than visuals.
Definitely something I need to try. The last MLB Show game I played was 08. And that seems far too long. lol. Although I hear that there are some quirks that this game needs to work out.
I've been waiting for a bit for PS Cloud. I it pans out.
Dark Cloud, to me, is a lot like the SNES game Soul Blazer.
That aside, if PS Cloud manages to makes its debut - and with Sony already partnered with all major movie studios - I think that Netflix will become somewhat obsolete; especially if Sony has monthly competitive prices like Netflix. But, let's see what happens.
This game is going to be insane. The sound was just incredible and the fact that EA actually got to work with an actual division of the military that actually do these missions is even more incredible. Can't wait for this game.
The scrungie on the SNES controller is priceless. I LOL'ed for a while.
I'm not too sure whether you're actually playing games or watching Pixar movies. The game's that I've played and enjoyed this generation have had CG, but not in the ridiculous quantity you're speaking of.
Cutscenes (not CG) have existed since the SNES era (yes. Those little pauses with characters talking to each other in text are cutscenes); the only difference is that graphics and technology have gotten much better which leaves an open ground for beautifying them.

Microsoft took the risk going HD DVD. What does adopting Blu-ray early on have anything to do with it? They were both pricey, they both introduced a high-definition storage medium which, ideally, replace our current storage discs. The difference? Blu-ray won. Let's not pretend like Microsoft played it "safe" by not investing in Blu-ray; they were heavy supporters of a format that got dominated. What MS did with the HD DVD player (external component), they ...
From what it looks like, it's not looking good for Activision's rep. There's a lot of steam blowing their way and this lawsuit might shed some light on what's been really going on with both parties involved.
Great podcast.
The consumption of fatty foods is the culprit, of course. But I'm pretty sure that if exercise was thrown into the mix a couple of times a week, we wouldn't have the obese gamers that are out there.
