Great video and good show. Overall, there was great points made about NPD.
The Grandia series was awesome, hands down. The second one, to me at least, brings back great memories just thinking about it. I would love to see the series get picked back up and see what they can do with it this gen. I had some real good times back then with RPGs... Good times.
Personally, I wasn't TOO much of a fan of Grandia III. It was good, but it just didn't do it for me as the other ones did.
Only problem I had when playing through the game is some of the cut-scenes. It did zero justice through the progression, but the lasting appeal of the overall game forgives it.
The God of War series is definitely one of the best games that I've ever played. Although Kratos might have a slight testosterone problem, it doesn't take away from the game's epic gameplay and strong storyline. The God of War collection is definitely a must buy for fans of the series and for those who have yet to experience one of the greatest games to stride through last generation.
Oh, and it includes the God of War III demo. Two words, people: My god.
Since I am much more mature than you are, apparently, I will respond directly to you. Not only is your argument dissipated after I already confirmed that I did in fact offer you a position on the site, but it also makes you look desperate to try and belittle someone because your debate skills are considerably lacking.
Did I, at some point, think you were a good candidate? Yes. I will reaffirm the answer to make you happy, seeing that you are in fact miserable. However, it still d...
I would first like to touch upon the position that you were offered; first and foremost, it was offered when the site *launched* and was looking for writers. However, after closely monitoring your "discussions" and seeing how one sided your opinions are regarding gaming, I definitely changed my mind - hence, why it wasn't being pressed. Sounding intelligent is far from being it, and you, my good friend, are as ignorant as Radio.
Assumptions? Let me just say this, if you...
It's pretty funny that everyone is trying to discuss issues regarding the game, and you jump on to discrediting the site. I've followed your comments numerous times and, as with the decrease of your bubbles, people are noticing that you're nothing but a rabid fanboy. Sensation seeking would be posting it all over the internet like forums, Digg, Reddit, etc. in order to try to bring in hits. We could care less about that, believe me.
If you really think that we're in this to make ...
It's been a while since I played a Good Mega Man game. Ah, the good ol' days of Mega Man classics and Mega Man X.
I expected issues with Modern Warfare 2. Every game has their problems, but most developers release patches as soon as possible to fix these issues. That's the difference.
And this comes down to an editorial I wrote titled "Infinity Ward: Support Your Games" http://dualshockers.com/200... on the site; Although they release excellent games, the fact that they're not consistent with the issues that plague their games is a perpetuating issue with gamers. Don't get me wrong, the game is a great experience, but when you have issues like these not being fixed (a...
Although some might think that the name alone might be the sole reason for the series success, I'd have to say that a lot of the FF games do have deep story lines in comparison to many others. That's what differentiates it from most RPGs. Personally, I loved 6, , 7 was pretty good, 8, 10, and 12. As per Famitsu reviews, 13 is looking incredible.
Agreed. SOME developers/publishers should consider implementing the same thing for some of their games. Kind of takes away any room for disappointment to an extent.
Hm. I venture more to the answer of "Sorry, dude. We're all sold out." I've elbowed babies walking past mothers in stores for this.
Depends on the game for me. The majority of the times, I get that feeling when I'm opening up a sequel I've been waiting years for. It happened with Finaly Fantasy X, happened with Uncharted 2, Gears of War 2, and it's going to happen with God of War 3. Butterflies are fluttering in my belly just thinking about it.
I will agree with you on some points, James. I'm not going to deny the fact that the FPS genre was the ingredient that promoted online gaming on consoles and PCs. Gaming in general evolved, I think, because of how competitive FPS's made things. A lot of the time, breakthroughs in graphical advancements are made through or for FPS games since they provide a rich entertaining experience.
FPS does provide an abundance of greatness. I am in no way going to bad mouth the genre that ha...
Whether or not you believe the articles that we write are bulls*** is totally your opinion, and I'll respect it simply because our writing doesn't try to cater to solely one kind of crowd - it's personal opinions written by gamers. Does it mean what Joel wrote is 100% fact? Absolutely not. But simply because he states his opinion on something, you declare it unworthy to read or discuss simply because it doesn't cater to your standards.
Yea. Black Friday was nothing like last years where people died (or A person died). It honestly seemed either really controlled, or just really low key.
I wasn't to attracted to this game, personally. Although it has some appealing features, there really isn't anything that draws me into it. Maybe the demo will change my mind, but after reading these impressions, I highly doubt it will.
