and even if it wasnt, just because a game isnt 720p doesnt mean it doesnt look good. resolution <> graphics. Splinter Cell Conviction looks better than 99% of PS3/360 games and its not even 720p, going by the demo.

its funny how people are getting excited about someone announcing a game that we knew 100% was being made anyway. why wouldnt epic make a sequel to a game of theirs that sold 5+ million copies, was always intended to be at least a trilogy, and is one of the most popular franchises in video games?

Wipeout HD is a HD update of a 15 year old game. if it doesnt run in 60fps theres something wrong, since its essentially the same game that ran on the original playstation. but youre wrong - its not native 1080p, it CAN go up to 1920x1080 but is NOT always that resolution, so its not native 1080p. of course if you actually paid attention to technical details you wouldve known this, but thats never been one of the fanboys best areas has it now?

Killzone 2s lighting is the only thing impressive about the game. the controls are horrible because of the input lag, and the texture work is abysmal. character models are very low in polygons too.

CryTek know how to push a GPU to its limits, and seeing as how the 360 has the better GPU out of the 2, dont be surprised when the 360 version looks better.
