i thought the 360 had no exclusives? Torchlight mustnt have come out the other week either, cause its not on PS3 and people say the 360 has no exclusives......
picked it up on 360 and im just blown away, it looks incredible.
the multiplayer has improved significantly over the beta/demo both in terms of graphics and gameplay. much more stable framerate, aliasing is virtually non-existant, and no noticeable bugs.
on topic - the 360 version perfoms better apart from what they even say were a tiny handful of scenarios where the PS3 version holds its framerate slightly better. ill take the version with the higher resolut...

IN YOUR OPINION. like i said, i couldnt care less about 90% of the PS3 exclusive list for 2011. the only ones i care about are Twisted Metal, Killzone 3, Resistance 3 and maybe Journey. I would add Last Guardian to that list, but i hold no hope of it coming out in 2011. i also dont count Ico/SotC because theyre previous gen games, ive already got them.

the thing you guys are missing is that i didnt say they werent good games (apart from MGS4/R2), just that theyre overrated.
i had a blast playing GoW3, think Killzon3 is fantastic, and i enjoyed U2 - but IMO they are still overrated. none of them push boundaries, none of them do anything new, theyre just good games with above average graphics - but the fanboys maked them out to be so much more. the overrate them.

ODST - i dont agree. i think its underrated if anything. it was a great ADD-ON that was released at retail. Bungie called it an add-on, we all know its an add-on since it even has Halo 3 in the title, but Microsoft - the publisher - wanted as much money as possible so they charged full price for it. as such, people treated it like a full retail game when it shouldnt have been treated as such, and under-rated it because it wasnt a complete game.

remember, you could take down entire buildings in Bad Company 2 as well - but it didnt look anything like the pre-scripted damage. that Fault Line II gameplay trailer was clearly a scripted event.
Pretty much every big game coming out these days uses deferred rendering. Reach used it too btw, it's not some Sony owned technology lol. It's just a rendering method.
Battlefield 3 looks great for many reasons other than the deferred rendering.
they look virtually identical, at both versions look better than anything on their respective consoles to date. well done Crytek.
only differences i can see is that in some screenshots the AA looks ever so slightly better on the 360, and the usual colour differences between the 360 and PS3 with the PS3 being slightly duller/360 being slightly brighter.
