i kid, i kid. i wish more companies would do OPTIONAL optimized installs for the 360. you can install every single game to the 360, but if they optimize it like they did with say Halo Reach, it will play noticeably better when installed than off the disc.

it outsold it, end of story. yes, its a multiplatform game - but all the PS3 fanboys on here assured us that not a single PS3 owner would buy bulletstorm over killzone 3, so that means that the 360 version sold more than killzone 3 using their stupid logic.

anyone saying the PS3 wins this hasnt played or seen both versions for more than a few minutes. once you go outside and see the volumetric lighting/god rays etc that are ONLY on the 360 version, its clear which version wins.

i just wish that i could actually play Killzone 3 online when i want to. i got in to 1 match of operations tonight, then quit to do warzone and i kept getting error 8001 (or whatever it is). nothing wrong with my internet connection, and i was signed into the PSN, despite Killzone 3 telling me i have to sign in again.
it sucks when you cant even cancel while its doing the 'connecting', meaning you have to sit there and wait for it for 5 minutes or quit to the xmb.
very good idea, but unfortunately like lots of Live things like this, its USA only.

thats a big call, since Spider Man 2 is without doubt the best comic book/movie-to-game game that ive ever played. shame they were never able to recapture that brilliance with the following games.
Max Payne 3 isnt being made by the people that make GTA, so thats a moot point. Rockstar North make GTA, Rockstar Vancouver are making Max Payne 3.
Mortal Kombat was all about combo juggling. anyone calling it simple wasnt playing it right, and wouldnt have been able to even land a hit on the better players.

Japan is actually the SMALLEST of the main markets (North America, Europe, Japan). they sell more PS3s in Europe and the USA in 6 months than they sell in Japan in 3-4 years. thats a fact, go look up the sales figures if you dont believe me.

wow, i just know that lots of the comments on here are going to be completely getting the wrong idea about this 'cloud storage' because they didnt read the comments section of the blog where they explain how it actually works.
its not cloud storage in the way youd expect for game saves, its just an online backup. you have to MANUALLY go into each save file that you want to backup onto the 'cloud' and copy it across. the game doesnt then use that save file that...

eh, ive got a 360 and PS3 so im not 'envious' of any exclusives, but seriously, i dont really care for at least half of that list.

people seem to be misunderstanding what the original Shift was.
it was an arcade racer with some sim elements. it was never trying to be a sim racer like Gran Turismo and Forza. but despite this, it does have a great physics engine etc behind it.
by releasing it with the sim aspects toned down and the arcadeness emphasized, theyve pulled in a much bigger audience than they couldve if they went full on sim. now with the sequel, they can start tinkering more ...
i had a look at a few 3D tvs at the shops on the weekend, and boy oh boy some of the pictures in 3D look great.
but you still have to wear >$100 glasses to see it, so i will not be buying one.
on the article, kinda weird that theyre doing that as if youre the one without glasses everything apart from the characters will be a blurry mess.
Epic hit the mark with the Gears of War 2 expansion pack - packed like 6 new multiplayer maps, a whole new campaign chapter, new campaign achievements etc. into a like $15 pack. was great value and refreshing to see.

if you even consider what engine a game is running in your purchasing, youre doing it wrong. UE3 is an absolutely fantastic engin...
