Had R2 not been an irredeemable mess, perhaps I would have picked this up before I sold my PS3.
Mmmmmm. I fall asleep to the creepy humming theme song quite often.
Eh, doesn't add much for me when the ends are always dependent on Good Choice / Bad Choice. Kinda defeats the purpose.
I'm thankful for the ever faithful cat who sits on my lap whenever I play video games.
Yea, and each one opens up if you roll over them.
Won't be visiting an examiner page ever again.
Nah, they actually removed it from the PC version from MW2 forward (not sure about BLOPS 2).
Really? They reintroduced the lean function? Well 6 years ago that would have been just fantastic.
Thank god I bought all those old RPG's during GOG's sale earlier this month.
Outlast for $6 is a steal though.
This game will be lamer than Alan Wake.
And it's the fans fault for telling Remedy that Max Payne was a well written story. Now they mistakenly believe they're at the forefront of storytelling in the videogame medium so everything has to be serious and with a point anymore. Boring.
Sometimes delivering the narrative during gameplay is even worse.
Take for instance all the annoying moments of having to wait for a character to tell you a bunch of crap before the door in front of you opens up.
Yet another reason why HL2 is still ahead of the game. Whenever they pulled that crap, you were always moving. So even if Alex wanted to monologue about whatever, you were at least advancing through hallway, or tinkering with a teleportation device...
Amen to this article. This trend has been annoying something fierce for years.
Hopefully your opinion gains traction.
But there sir you forget, that I can find deals on hardware as well. I didn't pay full price for anything in my rig, but that was besides the point I was trying to make.
All in all, my rig only cost about $750, which is a new console and a half. Combined with the volume of games I own that I pay less than half price for, PC gaming is a worthwhile investment.
I'm still rocking a $90 Phenom X4 and a shitty AMD 5770 GPU. I'm currently running Bioshock Infinite maxed and can even push Crysis 3 and BF4 near max settings. So my PC has survived an entire generation and is easily handling the current next gen stuff. I'm sure by mid-next gen I'll buy a new graphics card, but you don't need the best of the best to have an enjoyable time gaming on your PC.
Oh, and I only payed $7.99 for Bioshock Infinite. The savings...
internet fame... the contraction is infamy.
Oh Heisenburger, your constant attempts to take the high road with me always fail because you seem obsessed with insulting me over things that I don't say.
If you like this crap, you like it. I don't. This is a forum, I read the story, I felt like saying something. Deal with it.
I will never understand the love terrible media gets by virtue of only being terrible.
Spot on. But this community will rage rape you before even considering your comment as genuine. They are, afterall, partial to the games you take issue with than the games you're praising.
At this point in time, graphically, who cares? Does the loss of a freaking mechanical hatch with some shadow resolution detract in any way from your enjoyment of the game?
It's hilarious, there are many PC gamers out there that somehow manage to enjoy the hell out of the games they can't run with the full spec, advertised quality.
You console queers have issues.
I agree with you, but I just have to ask one question.
How does one absorb a video?
You bet it is! Those of us who see the business practice for what it is may abstain but clearly the average gamer sees no ethical issues here and joyfilly pays for this content.
You saw it happen with DLC. Some of you complained. More of you bought it. No crap companies are going to take this practice to its logical extreme.
