All rebates require you to:
a) make sure you are within the eligibility date
b) mail in all required information including filling it out completely (forget it if you can't follow directions, but then you have far worse problems)
c) wait for the check (in fact a check is preferred, now a days you mostly get pre-paid Visa cards that do expire or charge a maintenance fee)
If you keep copies of everything you send in like the documents tell you to you will g...
I expect no less of CoD6: MW2!!!
I wish they will release a patch for the NA version especially if the controls are refined.
Yet there are hundreds of thousands of happy fans playing online now, but hey you can all sit here and discuss how cr@ppy ODST is.
I so agree with Kushan. You know, people choose to buy the Arcade and it is pretty darn clearly stated on the box. NO Hard Drive included!
If they didn't get the full experience, it is because they choose to. I for one would rather have a choice, than no choice, but to each their own.
You know, I really see no issue without the hard drive. You paid less, so you get less features. Why is that so hard to understand?
Do anyone here complain why their $500 laptop doesn't have a blu-ray drive when a $1500 laptop does?
Now at least there is a freaken option! Imagine if you only had one option and it is the $1500 laptop. Now that would make me pissed!!!
.....
This is like the best implementation considering the circumstances. Instead of bashing the 360, you should really praise the developer for putting in the work to make this the best it can possibly be.
I have no issues with two discs or even three or four.
It seems to me that you are discussing the opposite of capitalism. They aren't bending or breaking any rules by pricing their stuff higher or lower. Profit is what drives capitalism. On the other hand Bernie Madoff is a criminal!
Activision charging you whatever they want is a not a criminal offense and is just the way it works. Supply and demand (in this case based on value) determines prices. If Activision overprices their product it will suffer a backlash.... However, it seems...
Agreed!
Mutliplayer achievements sucks because:
a) it ruins multi-player for everyone else that isn't trying to get the achievement. It's like going to a teamsport only to have a minority of team members run off and do their own thing....
b) it is inconsistent and doesn't provide everyone with equal chance to get it. An example is when people get better at the game and it makes it harder for you to get a win streak (or whatever for the achievement).
What the heck does capitalism have to do with Bernie Madoff?
Clearly you are confused.
Yet, the very same people are b!tchin at IW for profiting. It's as if the world wants people to produce things for free. Yeah, I'm sure that will benefit everyone, just like communism!
because Sony is ripping you off. Heck they already ripped you off when they priced the PSP Go, why not another step?
You said:
"Tell me when somebody said that prior to his fanboy comment and I'll apologize."
Cwalat said in first post above:
"What Blu-ray issue? =S
I haven't come across any problems with my PS3. "
Which implies just that! Do we really need to explain that to you or are you refusing to understand it.
... and people were b!tching about MS regarding license transfers. Guess Nintendo didn't learn from others mistake. This is actually kind of odd seeing how they tend to have a lot of good will towards their customers, like the free silicon skins on the wii mote and the repair a bricked Wii when updating firmware if you didn't mod it....
I will judge the difference when it is out, but also find it odd. There is too much mystery behind all this.
First there were no footage of the PS3 version, then Sega is doing the port NOT Platinum Games, then reports of the PS3 having frame rate issues reported by multiple sources so close to release date and then finally now different demos for two different consoles. Fishy!
We will have to wait and see....
I don't know the profit margin on PSP Go, but in general videogame hardware (not accessory) has very small profit margin. The only way the retailer make money is through bundling/upselling additional accessory and games with it. Of course the potential for a customer to return and buy games as well.
Selling the PSP Go it appears to be no benefit at all for the retailer and that is why a business model must emerge that makes sense and in it's current form it appears not to.
...
I don't know why people complain about the length. I just finished it and yes, I bought it. I'm very happy with the purchase and the game took close to 15 hours to finish for me.
There is still plenty to do in the game, firefight is blast (wish there was matchmaking) and all the maps seemed like a reasonable value for $60.
If MS just never mentioned expansion pack, nobody would complain and at best it would be some mentioning of the campaign being short. Now if you...
Ever seen those shelves hidden in the back that no-one ever goes to, yeah that is the PC game section.
It just needs to be a slow progression and that is what the PSP Go is NOT doing. They are forcing an overpriced new item that retailers haven't quite figured out a business model for and Sony seems to have completely forgotten retailers.
Business is a mutual benefit for all parties involved... unfortunately the PSP Go seems to only benefit Sony, not the retailers an...
So this seems to go inline with all the other price cuts, temporary increase. MS is going strong with 70k, Sony 85k and Nintendo a whopping 150k.
I think if anyone, only Nintendo will have a permanent bump since they are in the sweet below $200. Mainstream pricing is below $150!
