All these studies are pretty much useless, especially if they don't detail what the selection process is.
To me the best number are the SquareTrade numbers. They are an independent warranty company and don't discriminate.
To me, I love it when NG in general get a high score because in my personal opinion it is my favorite game. However, from a consistent review standpoint there is nothing in the gameplay mechanic that is improved upon that warrants an upgrade in score.

All I have to say is when the sh!t hits the fan, somebody gets the blame! Keep in mind that Sony was advertising this all over the freakin place as part of their campaign!
I feel that it is more than the issue of GOTY editions primarily because it doesn't fracture the community. The extra stuff is usually stuff that owners of the previous release can still get and those that do only add to the community i.e. map packs and etc.
This will be an entirely new community. I ain't dropping another penny on this game after purchasing the CE version day 1 either. Then again Capcom is repackaging a lot of other games as well including RE5.
It's funny that you as a PS3 fan is protecting Ghostbuster debacle which in turn is only hurting your very own platform.
It is pretty damn clear that Ghostbuster had a much lower resolution and lower quality textures on the PS3 than on the 360 version despite PS3 being the lead console. Clearly the same experience isn't on both platforms, not even close. Of course now that we talk about multi-platform graphics don't matter anymore.

It would not EVER happen and if it does, start selling your stock in MS as they have just proven that they have lost their business edge. That is like hiring Carly Fiorina to run HP after she ran that other company to the ground!
Basically it would cost far too much to buy out a large multi-platform publishers only to get rid of close to half of the platforms EA publish on. That's like paying billions of dollars on something you can't use.

I remember when Sony said BC was important for the PS3. They went back on their word and removed it. Then they said PSP Go will get a UMD conversion program. Then they went back on their word again. This is all by high ranking Sony officials.

Admittedly I'm not affected, but technical issues arise all the time. I know plenty of people that had issues with their PS3 as well as their Xbox 360.
Just wait patiently until a fix is out... or wait patiently for a replacement disc. Better yet, take it back to the store for an exchange until you get a good disc. Let it be MS problem. All the exchanges will hit MS bottom line.

I'm kind of sick of hearing how Halo 3: ODST isn't worth it and there is no exclusives on the 360. It's funny how the 360 owners aren't really complaining about this and Halo 3 community is getting bigger and better by the day.
No other PS3 exclusive or multiplatform game has the same sized community. I have a blast playing online and with my friends on firefight using voice chat. Until PS3 comes out with something like that it will probably sit and collect dust.
I personally think it is a great game. So far I'm only on chapter 3 (out of 10 or so) and already spent at least 4-5 hours on it.
Firefight is also a blast, but hey you guys can discuss how crappy this game is while I enjoy it!!!

Although I don't completely agree with them completely, they have some good points. Still I don't believe they can't make it DLC.
