So a bunch of you fanbois (you know who you are or go into the ODST review thread and compare here) complained about how Halo 3: ODST was an old game and didn't deserve an 8-9 rating. Mind you a score lower than its sibling, yet the very same people complain about how NG Sigma 2 got a lower score than NG2. The game adds some new content, but virtually unchanged game play with a little graphics boost over a year later.

Yes, the PS2 is $99, but the accessories add up. Extra controller and a memory card is gonna set you back another $50 easily for a total of $150+tax.
The chip to do this probably costed Sony $10. Personally, I would rather pay $50 rather than $150 to play them upscaled. Many people (people that do not frequent this site or a lot of gaming news site for instance) did not realize that BC was removed.

If PS2 game functionality would be offered on PSN, then there is no reason it can't be implemented to play from disc. In which case, if they do NOT allow discs to be played, then YES!

Team Ninja could seriously make Heavenly Sword 2 a insanely good game, give the same people that wrote the story and created the presentation took care of those things.
There is nothing co-incidental about it. What I'm saying is that two different people review two different games will get two different conclusions. I don't think the reviewers go back to see if the score they give game X is justified if game Y got something else BY someone else in the past. That is just absurd.

It is pretty clear that a review is a opinionated piece regardless of what it's intention is. People will have different opinions, and when you learn to accept that you will be much happier rather than flipping out here saying bla bla bla deserves something without even playing the whole game.
The legions of fans demanding that everyone shares their opinion. A score of 9 and above on reviews or else.....

It might be 20 pounds in the UK, but it is still $40+ in the US. I got it on sale on black friday at amazon.com, but since has not seen it that low.

Yet, you get all of the map packs in the multiplayer + firefight + a campaign. I know of plenty of games that are far worse value, yet the vast majority will spend way more time in it than any other gam...

...and Heavenly Sword does not have multiplayer or any other game mode. All you get is one short single player campaign and for that Sony happily charged you almost $60 for almost 2 years. It is still $40+ on amazon.com today.
Why? Because the vast majority of them have no standards on how to review it. Furthermore, they probably don't even have the staff to play through the whole game and make a good judgement.
The Eurogamer review is the only one that is worth considering of the three there. I'm waiting for the IGN, Gamespot, 1UP and so on.

Basically, he is saying that you have 512MB to work with as your main memory, he said nothing about graphics memory. He is just plainly stating the flexibility and the advantage of the 360 in this particular regard.

In California, tax is around 8-9%. Might as well wait for a sale on Amazon. Isn't it crazy that a new handheld with technology that basically was available in 2004 as the PSP-1000 now cost about the same as an Xbox 360 Elite.
That is right, from the very same site (dell.com) an Xbox 360 Elite can be had for around the same price take or give $10-20!!!
