if it has NOT already!!!
What the heck? Edge should have given it a 10! Fanboy site!!!
I agree. How hard is it to tell people in advance? Every service goes down for maintenance, but just tell people!!!
you want to upgrade software and find out you need an "update". The update is of course only available for a small fee!!!
Apple's update is what I call the equivalent of a service pack that is free on Windows, but hey keep on paying the service tax.
In reality though, Apple does provide an unmatched computing experience and for that there is a premium. I don't want or need it, but I don't mind others paying it!!!
I gotcha! You still contribute to the garbage here. It is already such a hostile environment that I think I'm going to lay off the comments.
Now those WiFi adapters are heck of expensive and I just use Tomato setup as a wireless bridge, but why stop selling something people are willing to pay for?
Clearly the author is an idiot as MS must be releasing this because they expect it to CONTINUE to sell well! Let me MS worry about their profit.
Phising is tricking the user to provide the credentials. That means 10k unsuspecting users gave away their passwords.
It has nothing to do with hacking let alone MS ability to secure their servers. Google once had a security hole that allowed emails to be forwarded to other email accounts via their filters. No password needed!
Why not use the original title of the article? Almost always do we get misleading or in this case plain wrong titles when it is changed!
I fail how these changes will change anything. After all, if you don't report it, it is almost impossible to track it. Remember, a blogger is generally an individual....
You know if you can afford to pay $400+ for a new computer, why not $15?
It is NOT mandatory and the cost is clearly stated wherever I have seen it. I'm just happy there is an option in the first place, rather than to force me to pay for a whole new license to upgrade!
There are all these administrative fees, such as verifying the person upgrading is eligible and re-shipping damaged and lost in mail discs in addition to the cost of disc + shipment.
If yo...
Then the next question should be:
How does Sony track sales to consumers (sell through)?
It seems to be a lot of confusions among the fanboy. I mean after all it is either:
a) more software sold is because the Xbox 360 has twice the install base of PS3 in U.S.
b) the Xbox 360 console lead in the U.S. is bogus and MS over report consoles shipped or each consumer buys multiple consoles due to RROD.
Do you see a contradiction?
By the way, the U.S. might not be the world, but we account for 50% of the market. Like it or not, we ar...
For those that remember Windows XP release after Win2k came out, knows that similar hate existed for XP. It became the dominant OS and is now ironically what people are clinging to.
Vista is far superior in user interface and especially under the hood. I wish it didn't take as much resources and they did take the SUN approach, hardware will catch up, but the user interface is miles better in almost every way. Still wish they would improve some ares, but I love it. Won't go back...
Well sales did increase 120% from previous week and is split 50-50 between PSP Go and the regular PSP.
I think PSP Go will have a very slow adoption, mainly due to cost and lack of UMD drive.
Well if that was the case, then we would have a lot of trade ins. The article clearly state that there are very few if any trade-ins.
So although there were complaints, it seemed people were happy!!!
Now if all your texture can fit into the 256MB given to the PS3, then yes the PS3 would have an advantage. However, if you needed more memory for higher resolution textures, the 360 memory architecture is much more flexible. So, pick your poison!
I have been pretty happy with Vista, but I run a C2D E8500.
On my laptop it is kind of slow, but the interface is sooo much better! Everything is an improvement other than the speed.
Considering the 200GB was first mentioned in 2006 and we are in 2009. Almost 3 years later, we have yet to see the higher capacity....
None the less, this means that the format is much more flexible.
None the less, this game if any deserves day 1 purchase!
However, I only buy brand new games. I don't believe in supporting used game sellers like GameStop! Do GameStop ever have a good sale?
I have saved more money at Walmart, Target, Fry's Electronics, Best Buy and even Toys r'us!
Never seen anything cheap at GameStop not to mention, they sell opened games that their employees take home and use as new!!!
I'm a gamer and I'm rather happy with the Wii. Wish there was more games, but still happy!
Also agree with 4show above. It seems like this is one of the most level headed and frank interviews around.
Gamasutra articles are always awesome and detailed! Not the blogger flamebait cr@p!!!
