None the less, pirates steal from legitimate gamers by raising the cost of products sold to us by:
a) increasing support cost
b) console manufacturers inability to recoup the cost of the initial loss on the console sold
c) cost of combating piracy
So tell me why it is an issue to ban these consoles? After all these thieves (pirates) are just parasites in the gaming industry!
Well done Microsoft! I know of two people that got banned and one of them went out and bought another used console at Gamestop and a copy of MW2!
The other, well he can't afford it without a job. Maybe less playing will help him find a job.
There will be new and stronger enemies, but there will be more people that will be banned as well... MS have already shown that they don't mind crippling consoles if you pirate.

The Halo 3 campaign is not included in ODST. ODST multiplayer includes all the maps released for Halo 3 so far.
So there is an overlap, but giving just ODST is no the complete package.
Sorry, but I used to live in Norway and UK. I remember importing movies from the UK only to find them censored. It then became the norm to avoid UK released movies, the ones with the huge @ss red ring on the front announcing the age restriction.
I'm not so sure about the gaming scene though, but in the few later years Norway seem to have just gotten the German, French and UK released in one instead.
Personally, I still prefer the US despite some major issues.
This sucks, but I keep hearing about save game hacks on the PS3. I vaguely remember seeing something about unlocking achievements on the 360. Anyone know anything about this?
Sorry, but I love it here in the US. It is not perfect, but for the most part I get to buy whatever I want. I rarely if ever hear about banned video games unless it is sex related. Then of course the tables have turned, but then again there aren't too many games designed around the idea of controversial sex.

I have no issue with it either way, but the way Xbox Live solves it seems to be the best way to go. I don't think many gamers need or even want to know so yes, they can keep it to themselves.
However, if they are going to enforce the rules, they should enforce it evenly is what I was trying to point out. I don't know if they do or not.

Apparently all they did was say they were "lesbian" on their profile. However, this is against the term of service on Xbox Live. You many not state your sexual orientation either in your gamertag or profile.
It is justified and they are trying to stay neutral about the issue. Now, I wonder if they would suspend someone claiming they are straight?
That is funny, cause I have at least 20-30 Xbox 360 games, and 3x 360's and no game has ever had a scratched ring!

For starters:
a) Natal can only see monochrome in the dark so it can't distinguish colors well. However, this enables it to track your body in almost any light conditions.
b) Onboard processing of your body tracking means that the 360 doesn't have a performance penalty and can in theory be patched into any of the current games (not that this is necessarily good).
c) PS Eye is essentially a 2D camera, so yes anything Natal can do that only requires 2D pla...
Seeing as how 3rd party games just doesn't sell on the Wii at all. Then again, Sony and especially MS has a lot stronger 3rd party sales.
