Then why do you feel the need to put something down when clearly you have very limited knowledge about it?
It's the same story every single time with you. We all know what you are going to say, and it ain't positive.
This might not lend itself to twitch and shoot, but certainly for more immersive experience it would work. Think Bioshock mood while you move around!
Now that sounds awesome and also, think of the ways you can interact with the environment that is much harder with the controller.
The haters will hate though....
That is pretty cool....
Agreed! I don't think a product that sells more than any other game by a large margin (I'm talking about millions) this year, most talked about, most anticipated and have the biggest online community on both platforms separately can be considered a terrible game!
Let me repeat that, it sold most games on each platform (outselling any exclusives) and have the most gamers at any time online on each platform counted separately. If that is not a great game, then I need to get in touc...
So was plenty of games! Many of them big games like Assassin's Creed 2 and Dragon Age and many others that despite the sale didn't do to well.
So what is your point?
When comparing value, fanboys claims Xbox 360 has inferior value and is a rip-off. Then when MS has a sale, they are desperate instead of pointing out the great value they offer at this price point.
Basically, they find an excuse every time just a spoiled child get's excused by their parents every single time. What really matters in the console war is user base at any given moment in time, not how you got there!
To gamers, sales only matters when a console is dominat...
....
However, seeing how we already have lag with online console gaming then adding another potential layer makes this thing virtually useless.
I guess if you are only playing single player campaigns, then your experience might be like playing online?
This technology will NOT take off as there isn't a real demand for it. Why bother with PC gaming with OnLive and introduce all those issues when you can just get a console and call it a day!
I guess what I'm trying to say is what kaveti said:
"The only reason I don't like Apple is because they have embraced their elitist consumers who act like having an Apple puts them on another level."
Their elitist consumers are annoying, and I used to give me the most hassle at work because they are spoiled little brats that think that they deserve more than anyone else!
I like to play my favorite game to completion. So far I recently started on MW2, NGS2 and made a return to ME in anticipation for ME2.
Unfortunately, my time is limited, but next on the list is definitely Uncharted and of course God of War I & II remakes. My backlog is getting really really long....
The Wii is getting no love for a long time, but looking forward to Muramasa.
"Well you need some Uncharted 2 then. Save up and pick it up. " -A Cupcake for Gabe
Actually, my brother bought Uncharted 2. I just haven't had a time to play it, as there are other games I'm more interested in the moment. It's not the game, it's the setting of the game I'm not sure I like.
I don't generally have to save for games. It's more of a I should NOT spend that much on games constantly. Over this gaming generation, I have probably spent in the nei...
I wouldn't call Apple product sub-par even though I hate them with a passion, I do recognize their products are excellent.
What I hate is the mentality of their trendy factor. In fact, the people that use them bother me!
Gears of War 2 was released a year ago and GeoW 1 was released 3 years ago....
I haven't played Uncharted 1 or 2 (although I jsut recently got the former), I must say that of the ones I played GeoW is the best TPS ever!!!
You are right, HD-DVD had more features and was more consumer friendly. It was also a complete spec, while Blu-Ray was rushed with later "updates" to it's spec. Early adopters basically got screwed.
The only real benefit of blu-ray was the additional space while HD-DVD was cheaper to sell and manufacture. It would probably have excelled HD adoption if HD-DVD won. Instead we had to wait almost another year for Blu-ray to come down in prices equal to HD-DVD.

I loved Vista as well. It's just the winers that finally got what they wanted, a new version number and slightly repackaged Vista. Who is the sucker now?
Personally, I use Vista every day and frankly love it! I probably won't bother to upgrade to Windows 7, since it seems the upgrade is hardly worth the cost. I think Vista had a marketing issue, not a technical one. Now that 3-years have passed and Windows 7 is a re-packaged Vista and computers are faster, suddenly it is good!
HD-DVD was great and the only reason it lost was because Sony opened their pocket books and bought out the movie studios. Fair enough, but hardly a technica...
... and all they can say is things to fuel their fanboy console wars.
The kid is ecstatic to get a console. I would be too, if I could get something like that as a kid. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford it so I was just lucky to get anything at all!!!
After being burned for buying SF2 HD Remix at full price, I got MvC2 for a mere $7 (560 pts) or so on Xbox Live the other day!
Then again, this troubles me:
"Consequently, we would not decide to postpone the launch of a title for reasons that involve only the game development side of our business.”"
I'm confused, are they saying they would not delay a game even if it needs more development time?
I agree with you and think that game sales is actually the best measure of how good a game is TO THE MAJORITY of the people. If a consumer is willing to buy it over another product, doesn't that suggest that to most consumers that is a better game?
Because Wii Fit sold millions, many put it down, but what they don't realize is that to millions of people this game is much more pleasurable to play than the latest Forza 3 or KillZone 2.
A review, is frankly an opinion f...
U.S. -> PS3 price drop + Uncharted 2 -> Result, MS outsold PS3 in November
Japan -> PS3 price drop + FFXIII -> Result, Sony outsold 360 by a wide margin and closed the gap
Europe -> GT5 next year
Time and time again, new IPs don't sell consoles and frankly it doesn't seem exclusive games sell any consoles with exception of MGS4, FFXIII in Japan and perhaps GT5 for the PS3. None of the other games will matter and Sony will be out of price drops for a lon...
