I don't know, but I used to work in an industry where we saw a lot of different people come in and use our computers. We provided them either Mac or PCs. The people that gave us the most trouble i.e. most picky and difficult to deal with was Mac users.
Another thing I don't like Mac that never get's discussed is the fact that required service packs cost money. Imagine wanting to install the latest software, but finding out you need an update to Mac OSX to use it (happened to me ...
It is pretty darn simple:
a) make better games and help market it yourself. i mean publishing it on XNA alone isn't enough for people to find it. I'm not going to sift through crap to find the gold jewel. There are plenty of games for me to play as it is.
b) for a $100 annual license, how do you think MS will make money of this? They are providing you with the tools, the license and even the distribution mechanism.
c) finally, if you get a publisher th...
The source code is on your PC and it get's compiled and deployed to your Xbox 360. The license $100/$120 annually is to allow you to compile & deploy to your Xbox 360. It is free to compile and run the games on the PC though.
MS doesn't touch your code.
Why is it no longer available?
lol...
The truth is out and Apple fanboys are upset!!!
I recognize that Apple is a well built computer and exceptionally designed. However, I refuse to give my money to Apple and bought Thinkpads instead. They cost less, is less trendy, but built like a tank and has great features such as Trackpoint, active protection system, security chip and a host of built in software that works great!
It's funny how people complain that the price is not too high!
Lower price is always good and the PS3 has great value, great games and doubles as a blu-ray player. How come it sells less than the 360 in the US? The only reason I can see other than marketing is the price.
Either way, there hasn't been any ads supporting this price drop supposedly tomorrow so I think it is highly unlikely.
This article is posted by Ben Dutka. Just take a look at his history of stories/articles he has written and it is clear, he is biased. Enough said.
They need to lower the price more. A price of $99 is still not low enough for me to purchase one. I want one! Lots of PS2 games I would like to play.
Simply because it makes financial sense to release it on the 360. However, the general theme here is that Konami only releases their games on Japanese consoles.
If it comes good, if it doesn't oh well, get a PS3 or play some other game. It is not the end of the world as there are plenty of good games on all consoles (even the Wii albeit few and far between).

"This is what most fanboys fail to understand, Halo 3 is the only good multiplayer on the 360 "
That is just an outright ignorant statement that doesn't even deserves a response.

From article: "It's surpising that Gears 1 was unable to last longer as #1 all-time since it really had no true competition for a year."
Well Gears 2 came out....
I think that is what my cousin did, and it didn't work. Can you confirm that this work?
Bladestar,
That is what I do, sleep or hibernate. However, hibernate is slow for me with 4GB of RAM. Works fine for me in XP, but in Vista the user interface is considerably improved with options to manually configure the function of the shutdown button.
I love Vista!
Usually it is the programs you install that causes the problems, not Windows itself.
I have run all flavors of Windows and they seem fine to me. Almost always the culprit is some nasty program running in the background that won't shut down.
This game looks beatiful.
I used Chrome and I like it, but don't trust Google with my privacy. They are far the worst of the big 3 search engines in this area. Tying Gmail, search history and browser into one is literally handing them everything about your internet usage.
Unlike other search engine vendors, I believe they take 3 years before they delete your data. Yahoo does it in 6 months.
Are you saying it doesn't matter if it cost the publisher money to make this content? It is simply the effort/cost of the user has to go through to unlock the content for the publisher?
If it is on the disc or not, it cost extra to make this content. I'm always open to free content, but recognize the cost involved.
Reality is no b!tching and moaning will change much, DLC is here to stay. Publishers already proved that stupid DLC such as tiny outfits at outrages price...
So basically, there is no way to backup and transfer those locked save games to a new PS3?
My cousin lost all his progress in SF IV. That is the only game he played on it. He is mostly 360 centric.
I have no problem with DLC and love them. The problem are two things:
a) Pricing relative to content. The SF IV alternate costume had outrageous pricing.
b) Content that should have been free should stay free i.e. SF IV alternate costumes that was in the arcade. Usually you get extra for buying the full blown game a year later after the original games release. They just turned it on the head.
However, I recognize that some content wouldn't have been ther...
Mac's are quiet, but you can also just get a Dell. They are super silent and cheaper.
Otherwise, submerging your PC in liquids sounds like a good plan.
"your not just paying for specs, your paying for quality. "
Your just not paying a little for quality, you are massively overpaying for supposed quality. What Apple has done well is convince people that their product is of superior quality when in fact it is just really superior design.
Their design is pretty darn sexy... although I prefer my bland looking Thinkpad.
