Looks like it is actually a map pack due out in April not a new single player DLC. I would love for some single player DLC for Gears 2 though!

Looks like a mediocre game, so I will wait for it to hit the bargain bin. I tried the demo and the fighting wasn't the buttery smooth I'm used to on Ninja Gaiden. Saving my money for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2!
Looks like a great update with many improvements. Looking forward to it! Glad Epic is still vigorously supporting this game.
I doubt this will take off unless you want laggy experience in single player. No matter what improvements they make they can't overcome three things right now:
- latency due to the copper (or even optical) wire on a high speed internet connection
- latency due to the different paths a packet can take through the internet, meaning some of your input might not reach their computer in time
- the amount of graphical data being sent to you

Furthermore, there is never anyone reporting duplicate article, when clearly this issue has been on n4g numerous times. There is nothing new in the article, but a rehash of what others have reported. The author has not done any research.

It is clear that my original post is completely true. There aren't too many games that support 1080p and none of them are considered better looking than most of the 720p (or lower) games. Yet, I get 5 times as many disagrees as agrees. Goes to show you...

Talk about misinformation. A 1080p resolution is just that, a resolution of 1920x1080 progressive. An Xbox 360 can do 1080p native just fine. It just depends on how much you have going on the screen.
Even the almighty PS3 can't handle 1080p in games as evident by the few games that support it natively. Heck, most games on both the PS3...
Ohh, I own mint copies (most of my games are in mint condition) of MvC2 and SF Anniversary Edition. I knew MvC2 was worth some $$$ (and probably will drop after Capcom releases it on PSN/XBL), but didn't know SF AE was worth $40. I paid probably less than $20 for it brand new!
In general, games sell better on the Xbox 360 than on the PS3 in America. Xbox 360 owners buy more games and coupled with larger user base it is not unexpected.
However, as PS3 user base increases the ratio of games sold more on the 360 will get smaller.

Street Fighter IV is an abnormality in that the d-pad on the 360 sucks @ss! So unless we start seeing a significant number...
If MS did something like this, it would be labeled as desperate and/or nickel and dimeing.
Fact is, although I prefer that somebody else get stuck with the bill this will cause further separation of quality FREE content for Xbox Live! over PSN. Publishers will not pull demos, because that is needed for sale. Sixteen cents per user is cheap advertising, but you can kiss good bye to a lot of extra content that publishers might have given you for free. Examples are developer videos,...
I agree that a comment like this is very arrogant of MS. I must point out that the comment on GameSpot isn't a quote so it could have been taken out of context i.e. meant in general not necessarily FF 13 specific.
On the flip side, when Sony said sh!t like this all the fanboys where clamoring that Sony was being self confident, not arrogant... lol.
Option is always good. Besides PS3 doesn't have a annual fee for PSN and the console is so much more quiet!
However, the biggest problem with the service is, with 12k movies... I couldn't find much to watch!
These sites been around for a while and haven't put a dent on GameStop's business. GS is going nowhere and here to stay!

Numbers are really off....
Most of the games that come out all have installs. That must mean all those developers are lazy. What is common about all the games? Oh yeah, they are on the PS3....
I love my PS3 (and my Xbox 360) but man I don't blindly ignore it's faults or weaknesses.
This is ridiculous. I guess those 48-hour cards also must be a loss then. Furthermore, this guy is basing of no fact, just assumptions on some rumored numbers. This is worse than a blog, at least that is an one person's opinion and not some in-accurate information.
Of course, the negative comments are always from the Sony fanboys jumping on this....
I would add Chrome to the list of browsers I use, but don't trust them due to privacy concerns. I already don't like Gmail....
Mozilla is good, but I still prefer IE. Everything works in IE....
It is always preferable that someone else foot the bill other than you, but this is a bad trend. Why?
Because publishers might stop giving you free stuff, because it costs them both resources and money to create and the further to distribute it. You can kiss all those extras good bye such as developer videos, extra language packs. You get the picture and this might be acceptable to you since it is FREE!!! At least they retained the most important thing for FREE, free online game ...
I loved LP2 and own both versions on the 360 and the PS3 version. PC is the only one left out in the cold.... No love for PC.
I always preferred Nvidia. My uncle works at Nvidia and he mentioned the CUDA project is starting to take off and has great potential....
