Yes! If Halo Wars is any indication, it sold over a million in a genre that generally sells around 500k. I remember when Halo 3 was released the console sales was very good for both September and October.

WT "F" MS... a second serious hardware error. I thought it was just some media hyping it up because of their need for a story. Luckily both my Xbox 360 (both Falcons, one of them being one of the earliest one produced) has had no problems. As soon as a problem occurs, it is repair and sell... I ain't dealing with multiple fixes PERIOD!

Last I checked, a game selling massive amounts means a lot of people enjoyed it and there is likely a huge community.
Doesn't make it the better game for everybody as everybody has their own tastes. I would pick the console that has the type of games and community I enjoy being part of. Take your pick, but none is better than the other.

Personally, yes and no! Better graphics is always nice, but graphics difference between 360 and PS3 so far isn't earth shattering. Did I care that Gears of War series doesn't look like KillZone 2 or MGS4. Not really.... Do people playing Halo 3 care? Not really.... Did the extra power in the original Xbox matter in comparison to the PS2? Not really, so why should it suddenly matter now.

pretty cool. I suck at fighting games too, but I enjoyed the game none the less. Give it 2 more months and you can pick it up for sub $30.
Well there is a lot of assumptions here:
a) MS paid $50 million for 2 episodes
b) The episode only sold 1 million in 10 days (we are now over a month since that according to the old source 2/27)
c) MS doesn't receive all the revenue
See where I'm heading with this? Nowhere as everything is based on assumptions and it really doesn't matter, because people should praise MS for funding extra content. If MS didn't fund it, we *might* not have gotten anything ...
According to the article, Google have to generate $10 per view and there is no way they can target the ads similar to their search because most people aren't looking for specific videos, but often randomly looking for things. The leads aren't going to be as targeted, coupled with the high cost. Why would you even bother unless you reach a significantly different audience i.e. a new market.

I don't like their new business tactics i.e. the DLC's (particularly the outfits blatantly taken out of the game which was included in the Arcade version), but they never announced the multiplayer Versus mode as part of the game, so selling it as a DLC is fair.
Personally, I don't play RE, but enjoyed both LP and SF IV.

Well, it is pretty messed up, but I'm sure it wasn't a corporate policy. It is sad though, that the release of a game on PC early results in enough piracy concern that can damage sales enough to release the digital version early.
I don't think PC gaming as it is will survive much longer....
This game has an unbelievable following of gamers. It is insane that this game continues to sell well and have such a large Live community.
Personally, I haven't played this game for over half a year though. Too busy with other new games.

Reality is, how the heck do you get porn in a brand new PSP, unless the staff got a return and resold it as brand new. Something isn't quite right. Obviously Sony isn't shipping PSP's out of the factory with a little bonus!
