Usually...the domestic or SHOW swords are hollowed out so that if too much force is used they will crack. However, you can get your hands on real, quality swords in malls, gun and knife shows, etc. all over America. Winning GOTY is like winning class president or prom queen....it is USUALLY the one with the most popularity that wins...regardless of whether they actually deserve the title. EA only does those HUGE LEAPS in it's sports games about every 2-3 years. Once they get those great reviews on a game...they settle in...make small tweaks for a year or two...and then try the HUGE LEAP again. It has been the EA Sports way for as long as I can remember. I guess it was TIME for Live (for sure), Madden (definitely). FIFA has huge competition in the way of PES...so they are trying to actually CLAIM and HOLD best soccer title. I don't believe that ANYBODY...including the PS3 fanboy would have doubted that HALO ODST would SELL tremendously. In fact, it will surely sell better than anything released by it's side. Fair warning about the beta. No controls were given for tutorial...so you might want to go to the beta forums and look at the written tutorials given. This will also give you an idea about what is different about the game and how to succeed. Rambo style will only get you so far. Whereas, strategic gameplay and teamwork will see you advance fairly quick up the ranks.

I think that GG would be the BEST for KZ3 because they already have the assets in place. No...the game was not perfect. But, it could EASILY become perfect with a few tweaks and fixes on their previous attempt at perfection. SM and ND would have to start from ground zero and that might hamper the game. The reason that UC2 will be great is BECAUSE ND was able to create all of the assets on the original UC. So, for this iteration the dev time was spent MOSTLY on perfection, balance, and polish ...

I agree with the article based on PRICE concerns. PSP has been around long enough to reduce the production costs and thus reap benefits for each handheld sold. However, the PSPGo is stripping out the UMD (which is probably a good chunk of cost) and adding flash memory (which is relatively cheap). Meaning, that arguably the Go could be released at a CHEAPER price point than even the PSP 3000. That being said, I was still VERY TEMPTED to get the PSPGo (so sexy) until I put my "fanish"...
