You might want to rethink that comment. As a young, developing teenager of just about 14 I thought I would be in heaven with public nudity. That is until I moved to Greece. Between all of the sagging, 70 yr old breasts and the hair in places that most people don't have places...I lost my appetite for public nudity...it is better left to the imagination!**threw up in my mouth a little on THAT visual flashback***LMAO

If you believe that he represents HIP HOP as a music and culture. To me...he's just another sh!tty rapper. There IS a difference between a REAL hip hop artist...and a "pop sensation" rapper that was created to sell to the lowest common denominator...the uninformed teenager!!! As to his career...I say...die SLOW!!!

If you read the article he is a person that is on his 4th Xbox 360. It seems that he is trying...in his own way...to get some solid numbers about what is really going on with the 360 failure rates. Scientifically, this would be a cohort study (group of people who share a common characteristic or experience within a defined period) with cross-sectional data (which is all collected at one time and is independent of when the issue happens.)There are inherent issues with any study of this kind su...

For those that are IN the beta...and those that are wondering what is the problem with this HUGE download. Well, they are basically giving you MOST of the game in download form so that they can spot test each mode and map at any given time without patches. As for the problems with downloading. There were over 36,000 people added to the beta from Qore and SCEE...and they were ALL trying to access this 5gb at the same time...added to the existing beta pool of 20-25 thousand that needed to get 2...

I believe that you will at least get to play until the next phase that starts at the end of October. However, I have heard on the beta forums that the devs are gonna keep EVERYBODY in the beta until it officially closes. That would be CRAZY!!!

That was my exact thought. I am sure there will be those that were waiting to get an extra 360, and there are those that just can't resist the exterior design change. Other than that, we all pretty much already HAVE a console on which to play it. I could see one of those "360 has sold xx% articles in the near future...because there will be an increase in the steady sales. What impact that has on the already 23 million plus user base is a whole other question entirely!?!?

As ZIPPER gets the servers stable..they will INCREASE the game types option. (ie...add more players) They just added over 36,000 members to the beta...so they have their hands full.

Funny that you mention that....because if you are just now entering the beta...they have actually POLISHED many of the textures (aside from the player models themselves.) This is a POSITIVE to me, because it seems that they are trying to not only test the load of the servers gamerside...but also test how much fidelity they can pack into the game without sacrificing performance.

For the 4gigs they are giving you almost the entire game to test with. The levels are pretty large...especially when you get to the massive 128 v 28 battles. I see very little lag when playing. There are the occasional glitched or lagged players that might float by (if you played any SOCOM on PS2 you know what I am talking about). Servers are a bit unstable...which is why they are load testing by adding 36,000 people to this beta phase...which I think puts the total up over 50,000 players. Al...

Thus, why I said "perceived" power instead of just using the term power. I ALSO agree with what you said about sports franchises...which even extend into the ranks of college sports. I ALSO agree that there might have been some idiot who get's his rocks off by finding a racial slur in an innocent game. I was more reacting to the statement "its a joke most people who talk about it at this point are the ones who are and thats why they have problems with it" that was in the f...

They are basing it on their previous history with bringing the franchise over to the US. However, they are forgetting that they did so when the PS3 was launching and there were way too many PS3 owners that didn't have the funds or just wanted those couple of launch games instead of a PS2 game. Now...it all makes sense.***fingers crossed***

That my friend is the classic case of ignorance is bliss. That is NOT meant disrespectfully, I might add, as ignorance is purely the lack of a certain type of knowledge. The fact that you don't know about the history of the word means that you don't have to react when it is being used. But, then again as GI JOE would say..."now you know...and knowing is half of the battle!"

Just remember that racism exists because of a power element. The word cracker is insensitive and racist. However, the impact of the word is extremely reduced because of the element of perceived power. Thus, why it is easy to laugh it off. The fact is that it is easier to compile a page long list of racial slurs against ethnic backgrounds that are not Caucasian than to think of more than 5-10 that are. Hypersensitivity exists because of constant and intense stimulation. (physiologically and ps...

I agree with you wholeheartedly!!! The PSP has been seen as the ON THE GO version of the console brother. Thus, the games are usually designed with that in mind. They are shorter and more condensed versions of there console brethren. I am impressed at the amount of stuff that they packed into the game...not what is is missing...unless that amounts to ACTUAL gameplay!!!

Notice I didn't just say "TALK"...I said have REAL discussion. People are so quick to dismiss, excuse, or ignore racist comments as accidental...oops my bad...What I am saying is that a real NATIONAL dialogue must take place so that there is a complete understanding about race in America. I agree...this was a simple mistake. However, just because it was an accident doesn't preclude someone for being a bit upset that a term like "SAMBO" could be added to a game.

I DO believe that...for the most part...that Sony delivered on the PS2 quality games in a handheld idea. Yeah...there were some bad looking games...but I dare say that graphics on a handheld have been surpassed by the likes of God Of War Chains of Olympus. I DO support your price argument. For the EARLY adopters...you paid for the increase in tech on a handheld...but 4 years later...the tech value does not hold up as Apple and MS have put tech in there systems that is (on paper) much better. ...

I would BET that the people that are discriminated against WOULD have a problem with it. Racism DOES indeed exist "on many sides from many different types". However, just because it happens to you, or me, or anyone else means that we should just quit talking about it. I for one believe that the reason that it is SO rampant is because that is the way it has been dealt with FOREVER. We don't, as a society, have REAL discussion about racism. It seems to be impolite and not en vogue to ...
