The problem with arguing his "facts" are that they are from the perspective of someone that is looking to UPGRADE from PSP. The problem IS that the PSPgo is NOT an UPGRADE system. It is merely a NEW option. Think of it in terms of cars. You can go and buy a BASE model car. Or you can shell out a bit more and get the SPORTS package, or TRAVEL package, etc. See, both cars drive just the same...one just offers something DIFFERENT. You are right. I actually saw that on my local news channel. Several grade schools in Japan make it a requirement for students to own the DS. This was before the release of the DSi! They were using Brain Age, mostly the math and logic apps.
I don't understand that either. We should appreciate EVERY single game that drops...whether it is good or not....because it is somebody's time, and LIFE. They can't get that time back...it is GONE. That doesn't mean that we have to LIKE every game...but a little respect for the process of creating a game would be appreciated. We are LUCKY to enjoy video games as a hobby. It's not a RIGHT to have games...it's an OPTION provided by developers.

I have NEVER had frame rate/slow down issues. The only problems with 2k10 are the legacy issues that have been in 2k since it started on Playstation. Like, for example, sometimes shooting from the baseline and hitting the side of the backboard. Diving out of bounds to save the ball is STILL not really precise...players just kinda chuck the ball backwards hoping that their team members will get it. I think that the 5.5 is a bit harsh. The first thing to remember is that it IS a handheld game. Now, in comparison to what it SHOULD be compared to...which is Live and NBA 10 from the Sony camp...I would say that it is just as fun. It is close to impossible to recreate the feel of the console versions...so throw that out of the window. However, IMO, it does a good job of bringing the control things to a handheld. The problem with releasing a $199 PSPgo is that it will collide with they PSP-3000 (which I assume they are trying to sell off to make room for a new SKU). Sony is VERY aware of the price point that they put on the GO. So, they priced it higher than the 3000 (to help move 3000 units when people comparison shop) and they will keep an eye on PSPgo sales to see if the early adopters can carry the market or will they need to shift gears. As an owner of the PSP-1000 since launch day...it makes NO SENSE for me to get the PSPgo right now. Too much money will be LOST to gain the GO. That being said...there are some people that don't own 20 UMD's. They might only have 5...and might only REALLY play 2! For them...the extra memory, and portability might be the thing that sways them.
