With the amount that this game sells in comparison to how much they actually spend on the game's development...I highly doubt that it will change any contract negotiations. At most, EA might keep a lower profile on using Tiger as the commercial spokesperson. He should be MORE worried about Gatorade and Buick (although I think that contract was never renewed)! Those are the corporations that usually cut and run. His videogame will probably sell just as normal.

I don't think that I have EVER sunk $60 into a videogame for eye catching box art. I get your point, somewhat, but I think that most gamers are informed enough to already know what Heavy Rain is. If not, there is always RESEARCH!!! IMO, the box art conveys the overall theme and atmosphere of this game. All that will be needed after that is a good advertising push! I don't know if this game will EVER reach "mainstream" status as the gameplay and theme just aren't for everybody. But, ...

The author downs one game because of his lack of ability in the game??? DJ Hero is a fresh take on the music genre. It takes some actual skill to play the game...so...learn to play it!!!
