because you usually have something intelligent to say, even if I don't always agree. I just wish people would treat the bubble system the right way. I have only ever taken bubbles away from constant trolls. I'll give you and article or two to get whatever off of your chest. But, a troll is a troll!

doesn't mean that he didn't sell records. Just because you and I might not like his music, doesn't mean that he didn't sell loads of music. He's had 7 albums and been in 6 movies as a lead or co-star, so some cash had to be made. Not to mention the cameo appearances on tv. According to some, he is worth about $40 million. I don't like his music much and his acting is okay, but I can't knock his hustle. I can hate, but that isn't gonna get me his $40 million.

That's like a hundred dollar bet to most of us. Yeah, it hurts a bit. But, must of us could recover in a month. Between acting and rapping, this guy probably has $50 million easy. So, that's not a huge loss.

With the first two games! This one looks good. I am a bit worried that the switching mechanic will make it too easy or take away some of what made the Driver series so good...the chases. Man, I used to love those chases! I'm cautiously optimistic!

Blu-ray is not necessary for gaming, but it sure as hell doesn't hurt. Longer loading times, long installs, and inferior graphics are usually the result of devs that aren't comfortable with the PS3. If you look at the exclusives, you see there is a difference. Most of those things are negligible at best. The multiplatform conundrum is responsible for the Blu-ray not being utilized to it's max. So, no it is not needed...but ask any dev that is going multiplatform and they will say ...

They were really tied to the idea of seeing this product actually last for 10 years. Sure, they could have gimped the PS3 up front and then got you on the back end with add-ons or something. But, I understood when I purchased it what I was getting...brand new tech. That is a cost that I was willing to absorb.

not really about the inclusion of the shoes, but the entire package. I'll say it again. This is fan service through and through. Sure, they could have stopped at the addition of MJ and I would have been happy. Honestly, they could have given me a fixed version of last years game and I would have been all over it. But, in true 2K style they are going all out. MJ, classic shoes (that do something), classic teams (only spotted the Pistons, Sonics, Hawks, and maybe Drexler with the Trailblaze...

When thinking about how to circumvent that issue, I was left with only alternate gesture controls in combination with some sort of "walking" motion. But, that would probably be way too complicated. So, at this point the devs are going to have to get super creative...or the Kinect will be restricted to certain genres.

Joe Danger is a strange mix of X Games and Platformer...and despite that strange mix it works...and well! I have had the game since release and it is still amazingly fun. If not for the bounty of levels and the ability to alter level layouts, it's for the fact that there is a pervasive scoreboard that keeps your high scores with those on your friends list. Each time I play it, I have to spend 15-20 min. to beat the scores. Just because it is a new challenge on the same level.

I haven't really played a game that was worth a 1/10 and I played a LOT of stinkers. Really, a 1/10??? That game would not only not have to load, but jump out of the drive and rape my first born. Okay...maybe a little extreme but still. Just for the graphical updates and the attempt at the guerrilla film making techniques, it should get at least a 3! I played the demo and it had it's issues. But, not -9 points worth. Any credible reviewer (don't know if I can say that and Jim Ster...

you are okay with the "crap" that Madden has. But, it IS possible that some people just want a better game of football. IMO, I don't care who it's made by...just do something to make the current state of video game football better. That requires that people stop excepting the status quo and start to voice their disapproval. Madden is the best football game by default...it would be nice for it to be the best football game on it's own merits. That can only happen with comp...

but the sales are only lackluster in comparison to itself. Compare it to other games and there are a huge amount of devs that would die to have Madden's last year sales...let alone lifetime. I DO agree that they need to go back and retool. If you have been playing Madden for as long as I have (since GameDay got horrible and 2K was still stuck on Dreamcast), then it is getting stale.

You could have said the same thing about the original Xbox vs. the PS2..but you see how things have changed. I'm not suggesting that the PSP2 will even the playing field with the 3DS. I'm just saying that there has been no other handheld that lasted this long vs. Nintendo. Any percent of market share is potential for future business...which is hopefully return business. So, Sony succeeded in what they wanted. Which was to steal some potential customers from Nintendo and create a space...

You pose some very interesting arguments about the use of Foxx as Lynch and I pretty much agree. I think that the established character should probably be left alone. But, you are missing something. There are probably a LOT more people that are unfamiliar with Kane and Lynch than are. Therefore, for them, it will be an entirely new experience and it won't really matter. This is Hollywood. I'll give the movie a chance just because I like action flicks. I doubt it was going to make a ru...

Allow some competition so the devs actually push themselves to make a great game. Try to actually give us a complete set of features on the field instead of giving and taking as you see fit so that you can bring back a feature from the past and call it something new. Physics based interactions on the field including tackling and running. True head tracking so that DB's don't have that "Skynet" AI and intercept a ball without looking. Ditch pro-tak completely and create some ...

experience should lends reviewers an edge on determining whether or not a game is great within a certain amount of time. However, the reviewer probably should not paint a picture in the review as if the game was completed. That means steering away from comments about certain game elements not being included...when they might show up in levels that were not completed. Just be honest about the level of completion and your opinions during that period of game play. This would also help to review ...

THAT'S how you do it!!! You take everything that is great about the NBA and give it to us! Greatest player ever...check! Classic teams...check! Ewing, Niq, young Kemp...check! This is fan service through and through! They already sold me with MJ, but to add the rest...man...gotta love 2K!
