It looks like he thought that there was some hidden answers to the simple questions. His ramblings appeared to be like his mind was churning out these random thoughts and notions that he couldn't digest (because his mind kept going). Hang out with a Bipolar person off of meds and this is the kind of stuff you might hear. (at least in the manic phase)
I will agree that he made the choices that led to the situation that he put himself in (the actual taking of a gun and murdering innocents). However, society has to play a part in it. His inability to "fit" into society led to his feelings of isolation and desolation. Societal pressures were placed on a man that couldn't take them (because of his altered mental state). If he spoke everyday as he did in his posts, then it was obvious that he was depressed and altered. Once again,...
His posts really seem to be like one who is slipping in and out of periods of lucidity/sanity and paranoid manic ramblings. It's clear that this is a person who could have and should have consulted a psychiatrist AND a psychologist. He was obviously depressed, clearly seeking attention of any kind, not always coherent or lucid, and a bit paranoid. I think his references to the stupid posts were probably because OTHER forum posters would make comments about how stupid (WTF???) his posts we...
Fight Night has always had pretty good damage modeling. But, at least from the developer speak, it will actually matter now. Damage the body and the fighter will be more inclined to drop his hands. Damage the face, and he'll be more likely to cover up. Plus, the stamina is supposed to be tied into the damage. So, you can realistically break down opponents. I'm pretty excited.
I found this article very interesting. This just proves that even for the "bad" games, there is an audience. Not every game needs to be...or SHOULD be COD, HALO, or GoW. This generation, IMO, is more harsh on games than any other that I can remember. I played many an average game in my PS2 gaming days because they were simply just fun...not great in many ways...but still very, very fun. I hope gamers start to appreciate games again for fun and not all of the technological mumbo jumo...
Well, I guess we have two different experiences. I don't play COD anymore. I didn't purchase BO and I traded MW2 a long time ago. I pretty much have stuck to MAG and BFBC2 for the last few months. Maybe, we are just playing different games.
Wait...didn't I help you with that one??? *wink..wink*
That lawyer is probably taking the case pro bono just for the publicity alone. Even with a loss on the record, being able to go toe to toe with the big bad companies of the world can't do anything but boost the profitability of a law firm. Is it possible that lawyers are the only profession that can win and lose at the same time!?!?
Actually, the first place that I encountered hacks was on Xbox 360. Not mine, because I don't own one, but on my friends where I actually get to share in those 360 games that I enjoy. The point being that the threat just seemed to be hollow and empty and fueled by nonsense. All three consoles have been hacked. Sure, the new exploit on MW2 for PS3 takes it to an extreme. But, this is a small percentage (as of now) of gamers on PS3. Which means that his statement was a bit of an overreactio...
They briefly talked about two modes for multi-player in Bulletstorm. The first being a co-op mode (I think 4 player online) where it is basically like a horde or survival mode where you can tag team for some extra kill points. The other is a single player mode where you attempt to score as many points as possible on a given level and then your score is compared to others on your friends list (kind of like the autolog on the new NFS). That's all that I heard and they mentioned that Bullets...

I think you are one of the first people to bring that up. I can remember my friend running to GameStop in the early 90's to get MK for the SNES...for a whopping $75...on cartridge!!! That was a standard price for a lot of the popular games on SNES. Now, we get Blu-rays and DVD's with superior audio and video quality for around the same price...some 20 years later. I think that the industry has done a pretty good job of adjusting for inflation (and keeping withi...
Good point...and I think that Sony is fine with that. There is enough money in this area to be shared and as long as Sony is making some of it, that's all that matters. In a way, Sony is approaching the business in the handheld market similar to Xbox (minus the treasure trove of cash to throw). They just want to try and bite into the market share as much as they can and get those extra bucks. In the end, they want to appeal to their core as much as Nintendo does. Each company just has a d...
And your option would be!?!? Oh yeah, move to one of the two other consoles that has been hacked for far longer and dealing with the very same issues??? Try again!!!

Rosie O'Donnell wears underwear with the dickhole in it!!! Sorry...Dave Chappelle flashback!!!
I could do without all of the venom thrown toward other games. But, I thoroughly enjoyed Split/Second. I think it was a fresh take on the arcade racing genre. I STILL own it and STILL play it from time to time. Each race is pretty unpredictable and even now that I have invested several hours I can still get beat. I didn't play online that much, but the campaign was good for me. I actually hope for another version with expanded features. This was really a good start.
Excellent point! Why does it have to come down to some fanboy bias? Why can't it just be a choice about value or heaven forbid about money...or lack thereof. Some gamers don't see value in buying a system for one or two games (myself included). Others don't have a problem with it.
I still feel it would be a great idea to eventually unite all of the three major products into one SUPER game. How fun would it be to start out in Liberty City. Then, have to take a flight to handle some business in San Andreas. Then, maybe pop down to Vice City for a bit or R&R only to be surprised by the fact that the drama from both cities has followed you! I know it's a dream...but wouldn't it be the definitive GTA!?!?
Tokyo would be cool...BUT they would have to one-up the Yakuza series in terms of locations. Those are pretty good representations (although fictional) of real life locations. Plus, I can hear the throngs of people claiming that Rockstar is stealing idea or some such nonsense. I say they either re-trace some footsteps with Vice City, San Andreas, or even London...or do something completely new to all of us...maybe GTA Nepal!!! okay maybe not!

That skit that you talked about was supposed to be ironic and satirical. It was supposed to be pointing out that racism, at it's core, is not about color but about stereotypes and prejudices that are passed from one to another in certain environments.
Being able to laugh at racism doesn't make you any bigger than the "petty" issues. It is really just an alternate method for dealing with it. You know, sometimes people laugh in the most uncomfort...
We all know that the Trojan Horse mentality go hand in hand with Sony. For better or for worse, that is what they do. I just hope that they can keep it relatively inexpensive (around $300) and maintain a decent battery life.
