What's lame is having to depend on this game to save your console. I own them both and supported them both until I started reading N4G. The flagrant and annoying tone of everyone of you out there who needs to feel superior to the xbox is maddening. That's the true childish nature.
I happily game on both systems. I've been there for Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, MGS4, yada yada yada. I've been there for every tedious and laborious software update, side by side with my 360...
And they echo my own feelings about the game. If it weren't for Sony fanboys, I would have pre-ordered this, but I didn't. If it weren't for Sony fanboys, I would rush out tomorrow and buy it, but I won't. Instead I will bide my time, continuing TLAD until I'm satisfied I once again own Liberty City. I will keep revisiting Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (a game that is just as important today as when it released 5 years ago) with my roommate over co-op. I will continue flying through the worlds ...
For me, it's the closest a controller has come to perfection. The offset sticks, the triggers instead of buttons, even the shoulders and their satisfying click.
Definitely change the dpad but leave the rest as is. I like the sound of tweaking the right stick sensitivity, but it already controls pretty well. I think the DS sticks are too loose which is why it infuriates me with FPS. I like the tension and deadzone of the s-type and hope they leave the things that work alone.
Depending on the reviews, I'll definitely check this sucker out. I hate the dualshock for FPS.
Every time I hear someone reference this "plan", I sh!t myself laughing. Wait and see. 2011 will shatter your hopes for the PS3.

Are you guys really so lame that you need to compare this bloated hype queen to games that aren't even out yet? Say what you will about 360 fanboys, but you never see them grabbing at straws, trying to prove themselves or their games better than an unforeseeable future.

That's the greatest drivel I've read all day! You've clearly never seen XBL arcade. I have both systems. Arcade has twice the DL games that PSN has. And yes, XBL has always offered HD movie downloads. And guess what: they're in 5.1!

The argument is pointless because to all the people who agree, they're never going to buy an Xbox to begin with. And everyone who already own's XBL isn't going to give it up because they KNOW it's worth the money and is quite awesome. This isn't going to pull users away from XBL.
The irony here is that once you've spent your golden nugget on the overpriced blu-ray player, you NEED PSN to be free. Because you really can't afford to pay for a quality service.

Anyone who lays the soul of their argument on a Google image search is a failure. I should care more about this tool just because his search doesn't bring up cute chicks and cool cars? The 360 sku isn't up very high because everyone already has a 360. The only people who don't are rabid sony fanboys who are opposed to having a game library at their fingertips that's actually worth playing.
It's pretty, sure, but a lot of the textures are flat. The cover mechanic is kind of a waste and the dualshock just isn't very responsive. It's much more akin to a twitch shooter, as are all PS3 shooters IMO. A lot of my gameplay gripes would go out the window if I could play this on an s-type.
There's also no story. It reminds me of Quake, the way they designed this tech and just kind of built levels and environments to show it off without concern for a central thru-line. And as...
